iPad New York Stock Levels?

Received my ipad. Got a mail from them on June 21 saying I should pick it up the 22nd(already reserved it twice via them). Once in the store one of the guys wouldn't believe me I reserved one. After showing the mail he started looking. Appearantly the manager had taken an iPad and put a sticker on it that says to not sell it. After 10min of looking they found that iPad with the sticker, and I could checkout. I didnt have to wait at checkout either, I could pay directly

What do you mean you had reserved twice lol??
Nice so how long did it take roughly for it to come in?

Im really surprised about how ipad's are out of stock there......


Do you guys think the best option is try a BestBuy store?? cause im staying at NY just for 5 days =(
and i think its almost impossible to get an iPad at an AppleStore....

I was hoping to get about 4 iPads.....all of them without 3G....

Yeah,ill try both bestbuy and Tekserve options......and ofcourse 5th avenue applestore and probably Soho Store too.

I'm emailing them a week before I go (5th ave store said they would reserve one) and then my friend who's coming with me is going to reserve one for me about 3/4 days before we go, and were there for 5 days

What were stocks of 16gb/64gb of 3g ones like




I'm basically going to go for any 3g model that I can get hold of!
Hopefully there will be some 3g models in stock when I go
Btw do tekserve sell for the same price as apple??

There were no stock of any kind in Boston, NYC and Orlando, but I reserved for Orlando while in Boston, and my wife reserved for Orlando in NYC. My 32gb was in Orlando five days after I registered and my wife's arrived the next day.

The girl in the Orlando Florida Mall store said they have stock coming in to all stores every day, but they're for waiting list customers or to replace any returns, so they can't just be given out.

I was in the Soho store ( on Prince St) on Monday and there were ample supplies. Not sure of all the configurations, but they had rows of iPads on a counter behind the cashiers based on config, and there were quite a few.

I was in Paris and in Berlin a few weeks ago and you could try, but not buy.
