yea I have been doing that for all my shipping boxes, spray the outside, take out of box and wash hands. As you siad whats INSIDE the box has been there for days so anything virus wise should be dead. otherwise take the extra precaution.
Ordered from ATT three days ago. Showed estimate at April 13-20, but got email that it shipped FedEX today.
Ordered mine from att last night around 11pm, just got notification that it shipped and will be here tomorrow. FedEx
Just received my shipping notice from AT&T and according to FedEx, it’s coming tomorrow which is the day they promised. Shocked. It was ordered Monday.
UPDATE: originally scheduled for 3pm until they figured out I was residential then it changed to by 8pm.
By contrast, my book ordered last Wednesday is coming Thursday from Amazon.

Mine finally showed an import scan at Louisville at 11:56am today and a departure for San Antonio at 3:33pm. Tomorrow for sure....
Just got a text and email saying it will be delivered tomorrow at 10am, even though the website still says awaiting dispatch
I wish UPS would give a time frame. Earlier today it said that it was delivering today between 11:45-2:45. I’m hoping tomorrow it will show a time frame like it did earlier today, just so I have an idea. Not that I can go anywhere lol. Or if they even allowed us to pick a delivery window that would be nice. All it says now is “Tomorrow by end of day”.
I encourage you to put a sticky note on your door that says "UPS: please ring doorbell twice" or something to that effect, because around here, the driver won't even knock or will quickly depart if you can't get to the door fast enough. This is assuming you'll be at home of course

Is there any precedent for shipping time being bumped up? Right now my order for a 12.9 1TB Cellular via Apple Store is estimated for April 6-8. Hoping it gets in a few days earlier!!
yes. I got the text and email first thing this morning. Apple store said it was still preparing for shipping but updated about an hour later.
Ipad just landed at my local hub, so it should be here tomorrow.
It happens quite often when a new iPhone is released. No guarantees, though.
