My FedEx shipment of the Apple Pencil is still scheduled to arrive today, but is still in China - not sure why that hasn’t updated yet; my iPad was supposed to be here Thursday, but is now as everyone else’s rescheduled with no date; hoping for some good updates tomorrow!
I’ve been told that my item definitely won’t arrive when it was supposed to (tomorrow) and will most likely arrive some time next week or the week after. DHL also advised it may go to a few ‘weird’ places en route so don’t be alarmed if it comes to Australia via the Philippines, United States or the EU.
I know I've been watching too many 90s movies. That sounds super mysterious.

Got an sms from DHL on April 7th evening , it will be delivered on April 9th.
order status on Apple website is still “delivery in preparation”.
Finally some movement. It has left ZhengZhou headed for Incheon. Showing Friday delivery.

Mine finally moved. Initially it said that it would be delivered by today, which I figured was a stretch since it just cleared customs. Not UPS updated and says it should be delivered by Friday which seems more realistic
I'm extremely disappointed in Apple by now, waited two weeks, than FINALLY it had been shipped and on the day of delivery it had been taken to a wrong destination so I had to wait one more day. Today it arrived finally!!! But it was completly smashed. I had to refuse the ipad and send it back.
Have you ever had a problem like this? I hope they send me a new one but I don't want to wait other two weeks! I'd rather not have it or buy another ipad somewhere else (even the old version)

These logistics always amaze me. And since I live in Boulder, the product is supposed to be delivered by EOD. Incredible.
Basically. Air traffic has fallen off a cliff. JFK had to be temporarily closed a couple of weeks ago because they didn’t have enough healthy air traffic controllers to operate. They aren’t the only airport having issues and I bet the shipping companies are dealing with sick employees just like every other company.
So UPS is now saying delivery today; but no signs it is in the states yet; still in China, not sure what their date estimator system is doing clearly not accurate - highly doubtful it is coming today.

UPS shows it has been sitting in Zhenzhou between Apr 1~7th and just arrived to Incheon.
and Apr 13th as Estimated Delivery (which is awefully long !)
Hoping the estimate is wrong, and I can get it by this Friday or weekends.
Do UPS ever deliever on Saturdays?

I like to think my delays are to make way for ventilator deliveries, so I can pretend I am a selfless hero in a time of great strife.

You are extremely disappointed that Apple couldn't get your device to you more quickly during a global health crisis unlike any we've seen in our lifetimes. Just think about that.
