I've learned that $20 is my tipping point. Do I use my current LTE $20 worth each month? Nope. $10 I wouldn't think about.

Currently every penny counts as I'm working thru some health issues that limit my ability to work.

For me it's worth it as I travel a lot .I get a Sim card from the country I'm in . It allows me to call using Skype , Viber or other apps of the same kind .
