deleted as this was already posted before. I missed it. Should learn to read :-(
What did you post?
I don’t get it why only 11 inch? Very oddAlso, just spotted this image now on SwitchEasy’s CoverBuddy 2020 page:

So I guess that’s bad news for us 12.9” iPad Pro users after all...My now, probably useless CoverBuddy arrives tomorrow.
Good news for 11” owners though?
Damn that sucks, did it come from china? As i know when I ordered my nomad pad I had a invoice of like £40 for shipping. I Couldn’t believe it...@knivez - Bit bittersweet for me....
I also got that email today (almost word for word to yours) I’m response to me querying the 12.9” not fitting / working properly....
Unfortunately, less than 30 mins after I received that email, I received (via FedEx) my ordered 12.9” 2020 CoverBuddy, which is now guaranteed NOT to work correctly with my 2020 iPad Pro 12.9”.
I understand that SwitchEasy themselves didn’t have a Magic Keyboard at hand to test the CoverBuddy with but at no point was I informed that there was a chance the 2020 version I paid good money for wouldn’t work with my set up.
So now I’m in the position of either keeping an imperfect product for my needs, waiting for the updated version to appear and pay AGAIN for that one (plus shipping) or try and haggle a return/exchange? Poor show...![]()

@SimonMScott sorry to hear that. I think you should seek a refund. They seem to respond to emails well enough.
I bought mine from amazon (USA), so I don't foresee issues with returning it that way. It seems that the 2020 versions have also popped up on amazon, so now I'll be waiting for the latest revised version to show up on their listings.
So it stays on the iPad ok During usage?Sorry for another update, but:
Just emailed SwitchEasy to ask what they can do for me regarding switching my current 12.9” 2020 CoverBuddy for the updated (again) 12.9” case. I’ll keep everyone posted on how that conversation goes.
Meanwhile, I have unboxed and tested the 2020 12.9” CoverBuddy I received today and paired it with my 12.9” 2020 iPad Pro.
To my surprise, it seems to fit, close, handle perfectly. The only instance it appears not to “fit” is when gravity brings in the “book” effect.
As in, when you hold the iPad Pro/Magic Keyboard combination by its “spine” or hinge end then it slightly opens like a book would if you carried it like that, due to the extra weight (I presume). I’ve seen other people posting about that so I presume that’s what they meant.
Anyway, for my needs, until a newer replacement model arrives, I feel this fits my day to day use. Desk use, then having it folded closed and transported in an internal laptop sleeve of a backpack, which would keep it closed nicely anyway.
When this combination is placed flat on a surface (either side of the iPad Pro face down) the Magic Keyboard stays closed completely.
The ONLY instance that the case opens at all on its own is when held with the weight of the hinge/spine at the bottom when carrying. If you hold it by any other edge, it opening isn’t an issue.
So, therefore, I am confused as to what to do...
If anyone has any questions, ask away!
Also, here are some photos (apologies, I am isolating with my mother so it’s her decor!):

I wonder if there's a difference between the 2018 that I have and the 2020 12.9" iPP. The CoverBuddy (latest version) prevents the MKB from closing completely and would put a lot of pressure on the hinge when you try.Sorry for another update, but:

I received my CoverBuddy today for my 2018 iPad Pro 12.9 inch. As others have reported, it fits ok but the cover prevents the keyboard case from completely closing when held near the hinge. It seems to be OK when folded closed and resting on the table. The magnets in the cover work well as does the smart connector. In order to fix the issue the case needs to be thinner. However, since the cover is already very thin, I’m not sure how this can be accomplished. The tolerance on the Magic Keyboard 12.9” may be too tight. In any case, I’m tempted to keep it and use it as is. I like the protection offered when the iPad is removed. I really feel uncomfortable using it without a cover - it’s so slippery. With the CoverBuddy, I’m more comfortable removing the iPad from the Magic Keyboard and using it separately. I hope the company can fix the closure issue, but the tolerances seem pretty tight and the cover will become incredible thin - almost like a skin. One more ironic twist. The Magic Keyboard case now opens easily - even with one hand! The pen holder serves as a lip and the unit opens fine. Before the CoverBuddy, the case is solidly held closed - so much so that it take two hands to firmly pull it open.
This is exactly the situation I see with my 11”.Sorry for another update, but:

Older (purchased in early 2019). I posted pics a few pages back.Oh! That’s odd, as the 11” is advertised as working with the new Magic Keyboard case?
Do you have the 2020 CoverBuddy or an older version?
