Ahhh I'm not actually in Hawaii atm. My school is there but I'm taking all online classes at home in Cali due to the virus. But to still answer your question, I ordered mine through Best Buy after waiting two-ish weeks with Apple and got my iPad in 3 days. Ordered: 09.01 Received: 09.03

They do just without the airpods. I didn't need them because I have some already, more than happy to send back to get my ipad sooner.

I would have gone the Best Buy route instead of buying through Apple, but I wanted to get the discounted AirPod Pros via the education store discount and I also had a $100 credit with the Apple Store.

I had bad luck with the iPads I ordered from Best Buy in July. They came out of the box either damaged or with screen issues like dead pixels or backlighting issues. Maybe they just got a bad batch, but I decided to order directly from Apple as a result and it worked out pretty well.

Processing Here. 8/18 order placed for the 12.9 SG 128. Delivery window 9/17-9/24. Still haven’t purchased a keyboard for my new future iPad. I have a 2018 iPP 11 inch SG. That I use with both apple keyboard cases. Track pad and regular. I’m not comfortable with spending $350 for another Magic Keyboard with trackpad. I’m thinking about getting the Logitech keyboard case. Hopefully Logitech will come out with a keyboard case with track pad for the 12.9. Like they did with the 11 inch. I’m going to try and wait it out only using a case and the on screen keyboard till then.

I have the Apple magic keyboard with track pad. I do enjoy it. I had to also purchase a cover buddy. To help protect the sides of the iPP that are exposed. I might get one from Best Buy for $299. That have been returned. I just don’t like that the Magic keyboard can’t fold back like my Apple Folio keyboard can. It would be great if Apple can figure out a way to combine both styles to make one. I wouldn’t have a problem paying for that. Instead of paying $199, $349. Like I did already for my 2018 iPP. Lol

Congrats! Mine moved to shipped since Friday, but still says “Shipment ready for UPS”.🥺 Looks like mine is coming from Tennessee too.

I f you didn’t use the edu discount for the free AirPods and live in an area where Best Buy is. You can get an edu discount from Best Buy (no AirPods though) and get you iPad sooner, assuming they’re still in stock there.That’s how I jumped my last 3 weeks of waiting with Apple and got my iPad within 3 days of ordering. Well worth it and was the same price. But if you don’t/can’t go that route I wish you luck in your waiting!

You can get an edu discount from Best Buy (no AirPods though) and get you iPad sooner, assuming they’re still in stock there.That’s how I jumped my last 3 weeks of waiting with Apple and got my iPad within 3 days of ordering. It seems to vary with Best Buy; sometimes they've been out of stock too depending on the configuration. Here in the Northeast US some of the Apple stores have iPad Pros available for pickup in the stores. Almost seems like a week-to-week (or day-to-day!) thing to have to check when you're ready to get one.
