I feel this, as I've said, 110%. I get that this is happening around the pandemic, and Apple's shipping is otherwise stellar; however, I seriously doubt I'll come out of this wanting to order a product directly from Apple for the rest of my life. After waiting like this, I definitely should've gone with a retailer.

Nah, I'd still order with Apple directly. You know 100% if there's any issues they'll sort it out. They can't say 'go back to the retailer'
So now the Scary Triangle on the Progress Bar is gone, but the Scary Delivery Date is Still there. It says it departed from the Facility in Incheon, so Where's it gonna Go? The Next flight from Asia to Anchorage is from Incheon to Anchorage. That's in 8 Hours. I hope it ends up arriving 1 day late from the original August 6 Delivery Date and not on AUGUST 10. My classes start on the 11th and 12th.

Mine also changed from the 10th to tomorrow so thanks to Fletch/Gordo the 30w ball bearings are working and the planes are flying again!!

In case it helps anyone whose iPP hasn’t shipped yet, Amazon has 2020 12.9s wi-fi 128/256/512 in stock. Also in stock is the 2020 12.9 wi-fi+cellular 128 and 1TB models.
It was different for a previous order I had. I ordered a sleeve for my MacBook two weeks ago which was in stock and scheduled to be delivered 4 days later. It showed "as soon as this item is ready" within minutes after placing the order and went to preparing to ship a couple of hours later.

I cancelled my original order and reordered on July 20 to upgrade from 256 to 512gb. Arrival date is now August 19 to 26. No charge to my card yet and order still processing. I have my case, pencil and cords that all came weeks ago. Hopefully I will see movement soon. Anyone else order around July 20? Have you seen movement?

I wouldn’t worry about Amazon with Apple too much. Apple would still stand behind their products if anything were problematic.
I actually bought my 16” MBP this year from B&H photo in NYC. Saved $300 off the $3299 price tag so I am happy with the transaction.
Anyone Else ordered July 6? When is yours coming? UPS still says mine is coming August 10 because it "Failed to be Loaded onto an Aircraft". Still in Incheon. I wonder if it will get on the next flight from Incheon to Alaska which is in 5 Hours. I hope it will get on that Plane. Hopefully I get it one day late on August 7 and not on August 10. I remember one other person had theirs delayed like mine. Where is yours?
