Flights don’t fly out of ZhengZhou to Anchorage. Mine went from ZhengZhou, to Incheon, then to Anchorage. The only flights that fly out of China to Anchorage are from Shenzhen, China. Those are only for iPhones, though.
@DiamondarBoss, how long did yours sit waiting to clear Customs in Louisville? I’m just worried that it will be delayed like yours was since mine is supposed to be delivered on Tuesday the 11th. 😳
Mine took about 24 Hours. It’s painful, since Texas is an Hour away by Plane and for it to sit there makes me go insane.
I know, right? I can’t take the suspense, lol. The wait is becoming excruciating! I have all these accessories and nothing to use them with. The return window on them is getting closer and closer if I’m not happy with them. 🤬

Magic Keyboard works Perfectly, the Apple Pencil is Perfect too.
I would also think Apple might give some return window leeway if there was an issue because of the delivery delays. You might chat with Apple Support while you wait to find out.
Magic Keyboard changed everything about how I viewed my computing needs. It's a pretty amazing rig, I must say. I don't have the Pencil yet though. I want to see if a new one will be announced.
Well, at least I don’t have to worry about tripping on the stairs like you did 🤣 since 1) I don’t have any stairs, and 2) I’m picking mine up at a UPS access point so I don’t have to worry about the driver saying nobody was home or having it stolen. Also, it will get there several hours before it would get to my house.
I’m still laughing to myself over that post because it’s something that I would do, lol. It supplied some much needed comic relief.
You might as well get what works with your iPad now. You don’t know what Apple will do, or whether the new Accessories will work.
For Example:
When I bought my 9.7” iPad Pro in 2017, it was around May 25. Then, they announced the new 2nd Gen iPad Pros on June 4.
I didn’t get the Apple Pencil or Smart Keyboard for my old IPP, so I had to end up getting the 10.5” Smart Keyboard. Luckily the Apple Pencil was the same for both the 1st and 2nd Gen iPad Pros.
The 10.5” Smart Keyboard didn’t work 100% of the Time, and it wasn’t a Perfect fit.
So go get the Accessories that work with your iPad now, and if they release new ones that do work with your iPad Pro, you can get it. It’s better to be safe than sorry.
Yeah, I think that way most of the time too: get what you need now. Guess I'm just procrastinating ....
Yeah, after my Old iPad Pro I’m ordering all the Accessories I need with my Devices as I’m ordering the actual device.

I’m not sure I’m buying one. My iPhone never got one, and after five years it only has two very minor scratches outside the screen zone. But on the other hand, the iPad is going to have to endure abrassion from the pencil.

Think I tried a glass screen protector once on a phone, but it's not my habit to use them. The pencil shouldn't be causing any abrasion on your iPad though. If I was going to get one for the iPad and had the pencil, I'd want the Paperlike. People seem to rate it pretty highly.
I’ve never gotten a Screen Protector, I got a Paperlike for my Old iPad Pro and it was terrible. Within 2 weeks, it was scratched up and there were bubbles everywhere under it. It also wore down my Apple Pencil’s tips way faster, and I had to buy $20 replacement tips from the Apple Store. I had a Professional apply it too, I didn’t apply it. I’ve seen videos on YouTube where people had the same experience as I did.
I dislike screen protectors. Not getting one for my iPad.
oh wow, interesting to hear that about the Paperlike. So not the great thing it's made out to be. For screen protectors, I suppose it also makes a difference how much you travel with it, or if minor scratches might be annoying. But I also think there are people that put screen protectors on most of their devices and those who don't. I suppose the best screen protector is Applecare+.

I don’t think I will need it, since I baby this thing. And also, this Magic Keyboard case from what I’ve seen is very difficult to get a slight bend out of when the iPad is in It. So I’m keeping it in it’s case. When I have to use the Apple Pencil, I will take it out.
I got applecare. Wouldn't dream of not getting it with the pro - it removes the worries about bending.

I agree, I feel like the MK will prevent any bending issues, but I like knowing with AC+ the MK is also covered, especially because it's a new product and we don't yet know how well it will fare. Hoping for the best though but still want the AC+ for peace of mind.
Have you ever worried about how much effort it takes to get it off the MK? I'm worried it'll bend just by that force.
No screen protector then. I had one on my iPad 2, ended up removing it.
Might get applecare. I tend to take very good care of my things, but like sirgib, there are miniature humans at home 🤣.
No, the iPad Pro is the size of a Magazine but doesn’t bend like one. I can take it off all I want. It’s not difficult to remove. Just grip it on the bottom on both sides when you remove it, just to be safe.
You guys think trading in my 9.7 iPad from 2016 is worth the $160 value? Should I just keep it? It’s in perfect condition.

You should keep yours! It’s still a great iPad. I kept mine. You can use it for watching YouTube, Netflix, or Movies. It has a great Screen. It should be worth WAY more than $160.
