The £329 price is only lower than the current US price $499 based on todays crappy exchange rate.

The exchange rate is currently at the worst its ever been, in some considerable time. If the rate was to bounce back to what it was in 2008, then are we expected to believe it would be much much cheaper like around £250. Doesnt work that way.

Anyways i hope apple release all the info soon. Im starting to think you lot think im a attention seeking liar.

you are correct, the trafford centre staff were briefed yesterday

I was there and I saw a kid with a 3G iPad (it had the black band on top) come out from the back room and put it inside a case after a bit.

according to a staff member he was steve's granddson giving his macbook in for repair

According to the Guardian report, that 300,000 figure included deliveries for pre-orders, sales in Apple Stores and deliveries to channel partners e.g. Best Buy. Not all of those machines will have been sold.

Isnt the US TimeCapsule the price as the iPad?

Look at the UK price of the TimeCapsule and unless Apple decide to rip the UK off even more then that is the price of the UK iPad.

It depends on how good the exchange rate was when that was released. Do some comparisons between UK and US prices and the rate varies quite a bit.

£329 sounds like a reasonable price point for the 16GB WiFi

maybe add £70 to go up a memory level and add £80 or £90 for the 3G

EDIT: Just read the above post. Bad times.
