That's interesting! I have not tried doing this. Not sure if I want to have two numbers on one device. I was not aware of this capability.

Right! I really hope it works how I think it'll work. If the battery performance improves on the 13 mini with os27 I may need to bring it to daily use again.

Don't bring in the iPhone. Use the free express replacement service that is included with your applecare.

Also for people who haven't updated to iOS 26 yet just get the replacement regardless. You will get a replacement with iOS 26 and then you can simply switch to the iOS 27 beta. I tried it and so far it really seems more usable than iOS 26 ever was.
