You could argue that since the original iPhone came out, the only real practical upgrade was getting rid of the home button in the iPhone X, and some people still don't think it was an upgrade. :p

Even if the iPhone today is faster, prettier, and takes better pictures than the original, I still use it the exact same way today as I did in the very late 2000s: to scroll social media and post poorly-thought-out opinions on the Internet. 😎

There isn't much left for iPhone to improve after 13.
I think that EXACT comment has been made after every iPhone release since the first one “will never sell because it doesn’t have a keyboard”

Hell, I think Henry Ford might’ve said something similar, and he was right, there wasn’t much left to improve on the Model T.

Not useful to YOU

Do you see a big difference between a 2020 vehicle vs a 2021? What about 2018 vs 2021? Very little difference, correct? But as more years go on, we see bigger differences that can be felt by almost all customers.

Apple puts out new models of iPhone every year so that no matter when someone decides to upgrade, they can have the most up-to-date, packed full of latest tech. It doesn’t matter if every person finds all the updates useful. The fact they are even trying to add new stuff and constantly improve should be good enough.

Apple always copies existing technology from Android phones, that is what you mean latest technology? Nothing great to copy anymore then Watch 7 Tai Chi kind of improvement is what iphone 14 will be.

Ford is a pretty weak company now comparing to what it used to be. Sad that even you predict Apple will be a loser like Ford after being the king for awhile.

latest does not mean new or exclusive. It’s the latest available for iPhones. If Android is more innovative and better meets your needs, then why complain about iPhone? Just buy Android and be happy. It’s a great option.

I would argue that all smartphone tech is fairly mature at this point and your not going to see such drastic changes that you imply you want to see from any manufacturer.

The Ford F150 is the best selling vehicle in the US despite declining market share in a hugely competitive market where the number of comparable vehicles being offered is way more numerous is more of a factor than quality and features.

On the other hand, instead of throwing as many features, whether ready for implementation or not like Samsung, One Plus etc, Apple has chosen to implement those value-added features when they meet certain standards. The first generation cinematic camera mode is better than the second generation of other manufacturers. Granted that Apple is not as aggressive in adding features as we would like, their focus on the overall experience with the device and their ecosystem has been their strength. Their devices, for the most part, just work and bug fixes while slow to release are more timely than the competition. Android's biggest shortfall is their lack of control over the code having to implement software to numerous manufacturers with their own skins and duplicated apps.

The next biggest difference will come once they get rid of the notch, and PWM for that matter…

Ford is pretty small in worldwide market, the market cap is only number ten. That kind of truck is only popular in US.

I know how Apple concept works, just nothing practical that can be seriously improved.
