I'm not back home until Friday so I can't pick it up till then. The first order I had was from a store about 40 mins away from me. So I still kept checking, found a second one only 15 mins away and ordered that instead. But then I realized I used the wrong payment method as using PayPal would have given me 5% cashback. Since the payment method cannot be changed, I found a third one in the same store and ordered that using PayPal. The other 2 orders were canceled later on. Btw, canceling is a pain since you need to contact customer support in order to cancel it. The cancel button on the website doesn't work.

Yea I don't know why they make is so ridiculous to cancel. The one year I got an email at the last minute on launch day that my phone for in store pickup for less than 12h later was delayed. I found another in another store and just let the first eventually cancel because there was no simple way to cancel it

Does anyone know if you're able to go earlier than you designated pickup window (I selected tomorrow because of my schedule, but might be able to get to the Apple Store this evening. Is it possible to do early pickup or do they tend to try & stick to the pickup window?
Apple store near me had replenished some 256 dp pro max and a few gold around 10:30 am. They had like received 10 units of the dp 256 gb pro max and was sold out within 5 minutes after appearing in stock. They do go by pretty quick.

Maybe so. But as someone else mentioned, it's very ✌️convenient✌️ how there's suddenly a flurry of stock shipped to stores the day after the return window of launch day orders ended

I was able to grab the 14 pro max 512 in silver yesterday after trying daily for the past week and a half! Location was about an hour away but it was the first time I’ve seen that combo even come up. Got home and woke my computer and the search page reloaded and my local store had it available too 😂.
Switzerland has the less expensive iPhones in Europe. PM 256 = 1440 USD (tax included).
That's crazy. Still not much in Lehigh Valley PA area. There's a PB TB DP at Lehigh Valley and two other TB Regular Pros somewhere. I don't think I've seen anything but TB in at least a week. I wouldn't have wanted to pay that much more for TB even when I was still looking.
This is just crazy ! I have not been able to find an iPhone 14 Pro Max 128/256/512 anywhere in the whole state of Florida, I have been refreshing the App literally all day for the past week, and nothing appears to be in inventory. Last year being more into the pandemic I don't remember having this difficulty in trying to obtain an iPhone Pro Max. I live in the South Florida area (Miami), is any one else experiencing this inventory shortage?
In my experience the app shows way less stock than the site search, like just the closest store to the zip code. Beyond that, best times to see stock updates in my area were between 7pm-9:30pm on week days. Also, on the site, I would use a couple of zip codes from near by areas to extend the search radius. That being said, my preferred model showed up in a search at 1pm on a Saturday.. good luck!
Try https://iphonechecker.herokuapp.com/ or Inventory Watch if you have a Mac. Both allow you to quickly view and refresh iPhone stock in nearby Apple Stores. Inventory Watch is better because it refreshes iPhone inventory every minute and will notify you if your desired model is nearby, but the first link is better if you don't have a Mac or are on mobile. You have to refresh manually on the first link though.
In addition to this, I'd also put that particular model in the bag ready to check out if purchasing outright.
