I just hit 100. I only charge with the MagSafe Duo once a day overnight with a 20W adapter.

Launch day, I think it was 89% last time I checked at 300-something cycles. Launch day. Scared to open the menu again 😩 This is faring MUCH worse than the batteries the iPhone 13 had. Something changed about the battery or the way this is calculated with the 14 series and onwards.

High cycle count because I’m constantly using it as a hotspot for the MacBook when I’m out, and I work outside every day. That said I don't let it get warm and I don’t have the 80% limit enabled. I charge with a regular 20W brick.

That said I don't think the battery is faring any worse than the one I had on the 13 in real life use. The health tracks worse indeed, but I don't notice the battery lasting less than when it was new.

Lack of 80% limit might have something to do with it, I’m at almost 200 cycles on 15 Pro Max and only at 98%. I use my phone pretty heavily too.

Using it as a hotspot every day has got to warm up the battery a bit. In my experience, that's one of the most demanding things you can have it do.

15 Pro still holding up well as the cycle count increases, still pretty low at 67.

Launch day 15 Pro, charged overnight, every night using nomad MagSafe charger or my MacBook cable if it needs a quick top up during the day. No charge limit, often used below 20%…

Launch day 15 Pro and its not looking so good.

380 cycles, 90% battery health. Degrading much faster than my old 13 Pro, which was only 86% by the time it was replaced at two years of age.

Looks like at this rate (literally) I may actually get a free battery replacement out of my Apple Care+ this time before the prepaid two year term expires, phones not even a year old and its already halfway there to the requisite 80% capacity

I was kind of shocked to see that I dropped to 96% this morning. I was at 99% when I last checked 2 weeks ago…. Feels like a very quick drop. I did not do anything different with my charging habits….. overnight on a slow 5w brick set to 80% limit. The only thing I could think of is that I updated to iOS 17.5

I've just hit 89% on 356 charges on my launch day Pro.

Think i may be joining with a battery replacement.

But you have 221 cycles, that’s great.

Day 1 15 Pro: 97% at 226 cycles. Almost exclusively MagSafe charging, optimized charging enabled.

And that’s the sad thing because to me the 15 Pro is like a perfect phone in every other way, from the display, to the processor, the camera which is leaps ahead of my needs, even the Blue Titanium which is so nice and I know will never see it again on a future phone…. But the battery life is just a let down for sure.

Anyways at least this time I’ll actually get something out of the AppleCare+ this time, wasnt used for anything on my old 13 Pro, I guess other than peace of mind

Just had my 15 Pro repaired for a cellular problem, and the cycle count is back to 1!

Actually kind of surprised the battery was replaced as well, but I'm not complaining. :)
