15PM dropped to 98% BH 😃

I have a launch day iPhone 15 Pro Max 260 cycles, 93% battery health. Would be interesting to know if this is correlated to being on the beta programme, I have been. I’m not sure what the point is as I don’t notice much difference in battery life, it’s never been that great.

My iPhone 15 Pro's battery health has dropped like a stone. And I never leave it in the sun, I never let it get too hot.

I don't get it. Apple said they use a new battery technology with the 15 improving battery aging. And yet this is the worst battery health decline I have ever seen. The best I got was with my regular 13. The 11 Pro was also really good.

I think that with my next iPhone, I will stop using fast cable charging and wireless charging.

I am using the original 20W Apple charger and maintaining the battery level between 30-80%. While charging, I use a magnetic radiator phone cooler. I only use the cooler when the phone is charging.

15 pro max
280 cycles
92% health

I'm surprised health has dropped that much as i usually have it on the 80% limit. that said, i play a lot of Pokemon go which i think hammers the battery. Ah well, will hopefully have a 16 pro max in a couple of weeks time :)

I'm experiencing significantly reduced battery life at 88%, like having to recharge during the day to get through it. Has anyone had success having Apple replace the phone or battery without getting to 80%? I have AppleCare+, so could technically just pay $129 (+ taxes) and have this done, but it seems a bit crummy.

Same here, worst battery life I've ever had on any iphone.

15 Pro Max, Bought in February this year.

136 cycles, 100% capacity.

Some notes: I only started running iOS 18 on developer beta 7 and recently updated to RC.

80% charge limit for most of my uses; occasionally I’ll swap to 100% limit for a day trip.

I charge nightly via my old iPad 10W usb power adapter. It’s been there for years and never bothered replacing. Fast enough for overnight charges.

At work I charge via MagSafe.

launch 15 pro max made in july 23, 140 cycles 100% max capacity
80% daily charge limit seemed to make a big difference this year, last year it was somewhere in the 90% capacity range

15 Pro
92% health
345 cycle count

It gets far too hot under normal usage. And 80% never worked for 6 months! Only when I switched the setting off and on did it start to work 😑
