I’ve had a black/gray iPhone since the 3G then last year I got the silver and loved it. No brainer white titanium already pre-approved on the iPhone upgrade program

It has a yellow/goldish hue in some lighting. Really making me question if I want it. I’m between blue, white, natural titanium
Same for me, I like how it looks in some of the initial hands on videos but they’re all in a white room with super cool lighting which probably makes it seem way greyer than it is. Apple’s own pictures make it look like a light gold and I don’t find it very appealing. I am wondering how gold-ish it looks in natural lighting. Kinda reminds me of Starlight on the iPad Mini.

I was sold on getting the 'titan grey' or natural titanium until I saw it today and now I am undecided...I don't like how gold it looks in some lighting. The matte black really looks amazing though.
I was curious about this too. I wanted the natural titanium originally. But the back of it looks kind of warm/goldish. I was hoping for something more silver/gray looking all the way around.

And is the entire back titanium or just the band around the phone?

That's one of the reasons I liked it more than in the leaks, the warmer tone. And the back is still glass like before, only the band is titanium.

I kind of like the blue, but that's only because the other colors are so boring. I don't even know what to think of the natural titanium. 😳

Way back when, Apple was known for their vibrant colors and unique designs. If you can't change the form factor, at least offer some fun colors. We're all living in this sad grayscale corporate world now. It's like McDonald's now vs. McDonald's in the 90s. What happened?

Anybody have any video of comparing the previous grey color to the new phones? It’s hard to tell how different the titanium is or even the black version. sides are all an upgrade being matte now.

Same here. Based on the website photos I was thinking Natural Titanium would be a good match for a SS gold series 9 because of the gold’ish tint. Now I’m not so sure.

Are the back of the phones titanium or glass like before? I thought it was fully titanium given that’s what the keynote was about. Now after reading this thread I’m not so sure!

Sorry. That video did not compare the colors you asked. It compared the blue to last years space gray

Titanium is still a conductive metal, so no, obviously the backs are glass to keep wireless charging.

The main question though - is there any reason to believe that Natural Titanium color would be different from AW Ultra or Series 7 Titanium?

Also, did anyone from the presentation actually bother to take a picture of white and natural bands side by side? You know, so that we don’t rely on renders and can see how the colors actually compare? Not in the same video, but literally side by side in one frame.
