Not opened them yet. Maybe set up the Pro Max later tonight. Will do the Series 9 in the morning. I went with the 45mm Midnight Aluminium GPS only version with rubber sport band in Midnight.

I just had my first on hands with the IPhone 15 Pro Max in natural titanium. Damn it’s beautiful! When I first picked it up I thought it was the regular pro. It felt so light compared to my 13 Pro Max. I’m really on the fence about upgrading. The weight difference alone is for me worth it.

15 Pro Max natural Titanium really like it

Another year, another iPhone launch!

I rocked up at 8am this morning and picked up my iPhone 15 Pro Max at the Apple Store in Sydney Australia - Natural Titanium for my partner and Blue Titanium for myself.

There were separate queues for walk ins and pick up and they checked people’s timeslots and ID before they let you in the line. There was a massive big crowd but they let people into the store very quickly. Lots of employees ready to serve everyone.

First impressions:
  • LOVE the Blue Ti. It appears mostly navy. Very close to (but a shade or two lighter than) the Midnight M2 MBA.
  • Natural Ti looks much better in person than in photos / YouTube videos. It's got a slight golden hue and has a raw metal look to it. I don't have the AW Ultra anymore but I feel it would be a perfect match. It looks and feels very premium
  • The phone feels SO MUCH LIGHTER than the 14 PM. I know the weight is only 8-10% less but Apple has redistributed the weight and now it doesn't feel like a brick. It is also visibly shorter and narrower (small difference in actual mm but you can see it straight away when put side by side).
  • Rounded edges on the 15PM makes the phone feel easier to hold without a case with better grip. The edges don’t dig into your hands like the 14 PM did.
  • Action button is cool. It is responsive and you get a haptic feedback to tell you it’s active. The press is shorter than I thought but should still prevent accidental presses
  • Bezels are noticeably smaller than the 14 PM.
  • Belkin Ultra Glass 2 protector has no notch at the top, and runs to edge of the viewable display, stopping at the bezel (i.e. No concerns with “curve” at edges”
  • iPhones came with iOS 17.0 installed. It prompted me to update the software first before I could proceed with transferring data from my old iPhone over.
Setting it up now and will post more impressions soon.

Pics below. Pic with three phones are 14PM Space Black, 15PM Blue Ti and 15PM Natural Ti.
Cases include Apple FineWoven in mulberry, Mujjo burgundy leather and Otterbox Figura case.

Bonus photos and video of the Apple Store in Sydney when it was about to open at 8am. Everyone was so excited!

Happy to take any questions!

Love the white titanium. Among other pro colors at the store, the white one is truly the most beautiful, brightest and shiniest one over all. I love the bright and shiny color and only white titanium can offer that on Pro color lines. It is also the sexiest one for me.

The lighter weight is definitely welcome as it will not pull down light material short/gym short when it is in the pocket, preventing from wardrobe malfunction. Great move!
14 Pro Max heavy weight always pulled light material down when it was in my pocket. I had to readjust frequently.

The white one is really nice. I was tempted but the only reason I strayed was because I have had white phones since the 4S and wanted a change. I agree with you though that the white is really striking and looks great.

@Djones96 How you liking the white titanium color after getting it in person?
I'll have to let you know once it gets delivered. I must be the last person on my delivery drivers route  I assume I'm gonna love it though. What about you? I know you had multiple ordered, what's the consensus?

Having seen them all at the Apple Store today, I can say the White Titanium is much cleaner and brighter looking than the Natural. I found the warm hue to the Natural to be very strong. If you're looking for a light colored phone that isn't champagne/starlight, go with White.

Just got mine!!

Omg the natural titanium is gorgeous!!! It’s what “silver” was supposed to be all these years!!! No picture or video will ever do its justice!!!
That was what I felt when I got every non white flagship/promoted color iPhones in the past. Then after 2-3 months, my excitement decline and I always craved white color as it is my favorite one but kept sided due to trying follow the flagship color. It is fad.
Then, this year, I stopped following flagship color new phone fad to prevent from regretting it.
Hopefully, the color is still exciting for you after 2-3/4 months and after everything is calming down:) . Wish the best!

Great to hear! I actually decided to go with white for that reason. All the pictures I saw of the natural titanium gave off like a goldish hue, and that completely turned me off of it.

No clue for me 😂 I am struggling here between natural and white which were the two I figured I’d be between of the ones I ordered. I thought it would be easier to decide having them all in front of me but I think it’s actually harder. Every time I look at them I change my mind.
