Got the 15 pro max. Was worried with the lightness it would feel cheap but it doesn’t. And the rounded edges but maintaining the square appearance makes awesome. Wasn’t expecting to be this satisfied with it honestly. Color is about what I expected.
Lightness of a substance or product does not necessarily equate to being cheap or inferior. I think too many around here have that wrong supposition.

Nope, it sure doesn’t. But to some, it does give off that perception. And because everyone’s perception is different, and that’s ok.

Do you have True Tone on or off? Turning it off gives me a cool (blue) white color which is not bad and I might just leave it off. Hate playing lottery over display 😩
I know right!! True tone off is very blue. But there are color hues/filters in Accessibilities. Hmmm Too blue too yellow lol. But for the price I need bright.

the display on max brightness is a lot darker than my 14 pro max, this isnt cool
Same!! I though this was suppose to have all those nits!!

Rumor suggests iPhone 15 Pro Max might feature an even brighter display

My turn! Pic dump!

Nat Tit iP15PM compared to the U1 and U2! The U1 is on my wrist, and not sure if I’ll keep the U2 yet. Stay tuned.

Answer the million-dollar Qs: YES, the U1 and U2 watches are identical on the outside in color and sheen. YES, they both match the Nat Tit iPhone color and sheen, pretty much exactly. I agree with others that the press images show the natural titanium as having a more champagne finish, but it’s pretty much identical to the Watch Ultra. So, if you have or ever seen a Watch Ultra in real life, then you’ve seen the finish of the iPhone 15 Natural Titanium.

Came from an iPhone 11 Pro Max. RIP to midnight green.

Feels like a significant upgrade. Screen looks incredible. Refresh rate makes everything somehow feel snappier. For sure worth it. The $830 trade in made it too good of an opportunity to pass up on the upgrade. Liking it a lot so far!

Great pics. I’m truly content with natural titanium.

Upgrading from a 13PM, I usually upgrade about every 2 years. The curved edges on the iP15PM are an interesting change. The iP15PM is def lighter, not amazingly lighter, but def noticeable. Also, the smaller bezels allow for a slightly smaller device, but with the same screen size, which is nice. First time with the Dynamic Island, so, that'll be interesting to get used to. I like the feel of the titanium, but, then again, I like the feel of raw materials not highly processed. My car has a real matte carbon fiber steering wheel, which is fun to hold. Never really been too into leather or things like that.

So far, it's a neat device! I like it!

If anyone is interested, I posted a Watch U1 vs U2 start up speed comparison in the Watch thread.

What the hell the one thing I wanted was better heat management, the 15 pro max dims quicker and gets hotter faster so gaming is again a no go, why have aaa gaming with ray tracing when it can’t even handle normal games, it dimmed after 2min playing call of duty that’s quicker than the 14 pro max, apple needs active cooling, the 3nm is a con, it isn’t better optimised, same batt life and worst over heating

Coming from 14PM to 15PM.

I'm already loving the faster transfer speeds of USB-C (10 Gpbs). Restoring about 300gb took only 15 minutes. Able to display to external monitor without an adapter. Can record video direct to external drive. Transferring pics and videos to my Desktop PC takes seconds to minutes (depending on size).

I set the action button to camera and FINALLY!!!, I have the best camera shortcut just like my Samsung phone.

The slightly smaller body and weight makes a huge difference. The weight decrease doesn't feel that noticeable in hand, but it's very noticeable in my pocket.

The 5x optical zoom is excellent. I think 1.2x, 1.5x, and 2x is also optical as it shows what mm lens it's using.
The S23 Ultra is still the king of zoom, as it post processes digital zoom much better. Match shots from the 15PM and S23U at 25x and the S23U is the winner hands down. Being that said, I'm just happy that the 15PM is capable of much better zoom than previous models, and I hope they don't stay stagnant in this area.

I'm keeping the U2 just cause of On-Device Siri. Siri was my only annoyance with the U1.

Yeah, I’m leaning on keeping it because it wasn’t too expensive with my pristine trade-in, and I like to have the New Hotness. It’s not a burden on my life or wallet, so, 🤷🏼, why not? The on-device Siri processing is a bonus, and it seems a bit snappier, so, 👍🏼.

First impression: very modest upgrade from from my 14 PM, which was a pretty modest upgrade from my 13 PM.

I have had every iPhone on launch day. I still get excited, obsessively track my order, etc. The last couple years feel like nominal upgrades. I am on iUP, so I'm not complaining.

I just want to know if the watercolor effect in photos is still there.
I've seen some reviews from YT and in some pictures it seems removed while in other (low light especially) still appears.
Many thousands of 14 Pro image captures and I have never seen "the watercolor effect in photos." What am I missing?

Thank you for that. I ordered the Pro Max in natural titanium hoping that it would look about like the AW Ultra. I have ~2 weeks to wait for delivery so your observations are reassuring.
