Got two 15 Pro Max in Natural Titanium. Light, perfect color for me, feel very premium as usual. Other colors are amazing too. Set up action button to toggle screen rotation lock (old iPad users here?). Main impression - GOD TIER screen uniformity. And I'm absolutely insane when it comes to screen tint / colorshift etc.

Yeah M12 Samsung Display OLED is really great. My 15 Pro’s uniformity is pretty much perfect like you say.

Thank you for that. I ordered the Pro Max in natural titanium hoping that it would look about like the AW Ultra. I have ~2 weeks to wait for delivery so your observations are reassuring.
🙌🏼 Yep, it’s identical. I compared the phone, the U1, and the U2 in a variety of lights, and they’re the same, which, IMO, is fantastic, and good planning on Apple’s part.

I know what you mean about the color shift/agreed on the uniformity. My 14” M1 MacBook Pro already has blue tint working its way in from the left and right sides…

Might be back to desktops for me if this gets worse.

But this iPhone is GREAT!

Here’s my contribution for this year. Apple got the colour spot on for the Natural Titanium.

The Max fails JRE's durability test.
Good thing prices for back glass replacement is now only £199!

Seriously though it does suck that this years devices seem more fragile. I have AppleCare so I'm not really going to worry about it.

Here's my little contribution to this thread.

Like every year, I met up with 3 of my friends, and we went to the Apple Store in Zurich, Switzerland, to pick up the new iPhone 15 Pro Max at 8 AM. Then we went back to my place and set everything up, along with the usual swearing about little things here and there not working and needing extra care 😂 (banking apps, some watch not syncing as it should, you name it).

I got the blue one, here are my pictures. And yes, we actually take the day off every year for this little tradition. A bit crazy, but we have a lot of fun! And probably way too much food too...

First impression: very modest upgrade from from my 14 PM, which was a pretty modest upgrade from my 13 PM.

I have had every iPhone on launch day. I still get excited, obsessively track my order, etc. The last couple years feel like nominal upgrades. I am on iUP, so I'm not complaining.
Thanks for being very straightforward and honest.

I got a black titanium pro max. Coming from a 12 mini, this feels like a massive upgrade (and not just the size, lol). Getting used to all the differences, but just interacting with the UI feels a lot snappier. I do also like the action button, at least in concept, just not sure what to do with it yet.

Cant think of a time where I set my phone on fire
So true. And most regular users like me put a case, a display protection and even camera protection on it. Whenever I sell on my phones they never have a single scratch or stain on them. I always find those test and drop videos super wasteful.
