6.9” (phone) is too big.
People thought the iPhone Pro Max 6.7" screen was too big and the majority of the people got used to it. Believe it or not, the iPhone Pro Max is the most popular model. Nowadays people are into top-tier bigger screen iPhones. They want a bigger battery life, a camera, and a bigger screen ratio.

If this iPhone comes with 8 GB ram I will trade in the 14 pro max and purchase it. And I will keep it for years until the wheels fall off. Perhaps upgrading the battery once or twice.

With an a17 and 8 GB ram, there’s not much reason to upgrade. I know apple will try its best to convince me otherwise but I don’t see a need to do so anytime soon.

Might want to upgrade to iPhone 15 Pro Max. It is suspected to come with 8GB RAM. Solid!

I miss the days when there was always "one more thing..." and apple would blow us away with a new product or new feature that was never seen before. Now its routine updates and they just give us a new name to try to justify the hype. I understand the work that goes into upgrading the products, but it seems like there is not really a huge leap forward like there used to be. All companies are doing it, I just miss when Apple seemed to really be innovating and not just floating down the stream.

Agreed! Your post reminds me of this clip. Worth watching! 🙌🏻

The only legit reasons to call an iPhone 'Ultra' would be a rugged edition (think Apple Watch Ultra but an iPhone) or if it folds. It's dumb to move from Pro Max to Ultra just because it sounds cooler.

I'm surprised Apple didn't name it "iPhone 15 Ultra" just to justify the $100 price increase. Lol.

They're like f it, y'all still gonna buy if regardless of the name.
Don’t you worry Ultra will justify a further increase. They are just pacing themselves.

seems like the stage is set for another lackluster event this year. Same phone same watch new marketing terms to hoodwink the consumer.

No one's putting a gun to people's head to buy it. The truth is innovation in the smartphone industry as a whole has slowed down. And whatever innovation there has been like folding screens hasn't taken off.

Ultra is premature.
Should go with Maxed. E.g., iPhone 15 Pro Maxed.
Then next year: Maxed Out. E.g., iPhone 16 Pro Maxed Out.
Then and only then, Ultra. C'mon, Apple!

It seems you missed the last WWDC keynote, where the one more thing was a revolution in computing that left test users awestruck and "blown away."
