I have gone from a 13PM to 15PM and quote surprised how the tiny difference in size makes the 15 feel smaller and more manageable even the we are talking a tiny difference. No way I could go smaller than the PM screen having had the larger screen since the 8.

I went back smaller this year. My last couple of phones were Max size. I just didn’t want a big phone again. I like the pocket factor and mostly use my iPad for surfing.

Me too! I also upgraded from the 13 Pro Max. I had to double check the box after I held my new 15 Pro Max because I thought they had accidentally sent me the regular size 15 pro. It actually does feel smaller.

I tried a day of the 15 Pro Max and gave up. My 12 Pro (regular size) with a case on is about the same size and weight as a Pro Max phone without a case, but for some reason, the usability of the 15 Pro Max with one hand was slightly uncomfortable and moderately annoying for me. It's not like a world of difference, Im sure I'd get used to it over time and just forget about the trade offs.

Comparing the amount of text, size of text, etc. to each of the Pro vs. Pro Max sized phones viewing the same app or web pages, I couldn't really see a significant difference that was worth the trade offs for me. I'll miss the battery life the most, but as I don't watch a lot of videos or media on my phone, I didn't think anything else was really that useful for me.

It just comes down to personal preference here. You won't really know till you try it out for a day (or more... you probably do get more "used" to it, but I didn't need / want to get used to it. I just wanted my pocketable light phone back ASAP!).

Went from a 12 pro to a 15 pro max. Extra size and weight definitely noticeable, it at the same time the larger screen is so nice to use. For the most part I am handling it fine, though I do sometimes miss the smaller phone.

I think the pro max would feel perfect to me caseless, but I’m a little nervous about attempting run completely caseless.

I went from 12 pro max to 15 pro max. I feel like the 15 pro max is lighter and easier to hold than the 12

This is me exactly! I had the 14PM and really regretted the size after a while. Too late to return it. Ended up getting a iPad Mini 6 and really love it for at home couch browsing. Traded in the 14PM for the 15 Pro and so far I’m really enjoying the more compact size and lighter weight.

I used big phones for years, my last two have been 6.1” but feel they are just a little too cramped. In going back to big again and have a Pro Max ordered. I don’t see any adjustment needed for me.

anyone upgraded from a 6.1 inch to a max? Having a hard time adjusting to the size :(

please share your thoughts if anyone regretted the size!
I went from the 14 pro to the 15 pro max. I’ve had the smaller pro for a few years now. Definitely rough coming back to a max lol.

I had a 13P and just got a 15PM. It’s probably going back for a regular 15P. The size is nice two handed but it’s too unwieldy using day to day.

Trying to reach the corners makes it a chore. I’m a big guy and it’s just not ergonomic.

Just returned my 15PM for same reason. Back to my 12 for time being and deciding whether I want a 15P.

It's too big to carry comfortably in pants. That makes it too big to carry, period, for many.

Apple is making phones that are either too small (standard 15 or pro) or too big (Plus or Max).

Well, be prepared because both pro models are expected to get even bigger this year. That’s why I upgraded to the Max when this year when it was still 6.7 inches. I came from a 13 pro and my wife has the regular 15 and now hers feels tiny in comparison. I’ve had no issues with the size, but I understand it’s not for everyone.

Went from X to 13 Pro to 15 Pro and decided to test the 15 Pro Max. For me it was too big. Not so the weight but more so the actual dimensions especially the width. I like that the Pro you can't feel in the pants pocket. But everyone is different. If you are coming from an older Pro max it will feel lighter. Some people won't notice at all. That's why it's important to individually test for yourself.
