Went from a X to 15PM and don't think the PM is big at all.. Actually feels smaller than 6.7'.. My girlfriends S22 ultra feels like a bigger phone in comparison

My 15 max in the fine woven case is same weight and not much bigger than the 14 pro with mous case I had.
Will be getting 11 grams lighter with another carbon case I have coming.

I’ve had the large iPhones since the 6 Plus (with the exception of the X), and I love that size! I’ve flirted with going to the smaller model, but I return them because the screen is just too small. I love more text on screen, bigger photos and videos. The size and weight have never bothered me even when running or cycling. I was considering switching to Android if Apple hadn’t come out with the 6 Plus. I was thrilled when the XS Max launched.

Yes it's still too big,BUT smaller than 13 Pro Max (that I own).
I'm leaning towards regular 15 Pro for easier handling advantage but don't like the shorter battery life.
I'm stuck and can't decide!

Current lineup is about tradeoffs in every direction. If you want to be able to carry the phone comfortably, look at an SE or mini. Otherwise, it's varying degrees of discomfort and woeful battery life.

I think it really depends on the person. Do you have small hands? do you like carrying your phone in your front pocket? Possibly a bad idea. The iPhone picks up a lot of pocket lent that way. For me the pro max size is perfect. I don’t care to use anything smaller I like the large display for movies, photo editing, etc.. Some people prefer to use the phone one-handed, I’m not one of those people. I prefer both hands. The max size iPhone may feel big at first but you get used to it pretty quick and it doesn’t feel large anymore. Then when you go pick up the smaller, 6.1 inch phone you’re thinking wow, I used to use this little bitty thing?

I’ve never worn a iPhone with my pants

OMG, you don't know what you're missing. iPhone 17 will have a killer battery. Here's a mockup:

It all depends on personal preference and for those that the Pro Max is the right size good for them. I prefer the 6.1" size of the Pro series. Having smaller hands and still be able to do most functions on the phone one handed is more important to me then to have to 2 hand the larger size of the Pro Max. The bigger the phones get the harder that it is to do most things and I really hate to carry around a Mini iPad that is getting unmanageable.

Ha!! Not quite, but nice try. If you think the 15 pro max is a brick, try carrying two of them like I do. One in my shirt pocket & the other on a messenger style shoulder bag with 20k battery banks and other iPhone accessories. The weight I carry with me will will make most of you little guys cry.

I think they are; I had an 8 Plus for two years and despised that phone. Tried the Max for a bit and quickly went back to the Pro. I use my phones exclusively one-handed, and the Max doesn't work for that. It doesn't comfortably fit in my pockets.

I just don't need the extra screen space..I don't play games and I don't watch video.

Yup, the pro max is a bit big for my taste. Figured I’d give it a try for a year . Will be reading it in for next years regular pro…

anyone upgraded from a 6.1 inch to a max? Having a hard time adjusting to the size :(

please share your thoughts if anyone regretted the size!

Perfect screen size for me and as rumor states if Apple upgrades its successor to 6'9 inch I will be pleased. For me single handed operation was never my priority. Specially while typing.
