What color are you getting?

I think the disappointing thing about Blue Titanium is it doesn’t feel like a new and exclusive Pro colour iPhone; the more I see it, the more I get reminded of iPhone 12 Pro’s Pacific Blue, something we’ve had already. If it was an actual new shade of blue such as Midnight Blue then that would be another story.

It’s not like Deep Purple and Sierra Blue where you were like wow not only are these colours really nice, I’ve also never seen them before and they look fresh
I’d kill for Midnight Green. I’ll kill if Apple releases it a month later. They pulled green once that way.

What happened to the rumours of the crimson red iPhone 15 Pro? I wanted that colour!

Word of warning: the way Apple does it is hopefully different, but the DLC on my very expensive Garmin watch flakes off at the slightest touch. DLC is almost in scam territory. Very annoying. I’d take stainless steel over DLC coated titanium any day of the week.
With titanium Series 5 Apple watches, the DLC coated darker option was far more resistant to scratches.

I keep doing the same, haha. Still stuck between blue and natural, but can’t decide if natural has too much of a gold/champagne tint to it, even though in-person some people have said it looks kinda gray. I wish we could see them in-store before the pre-orders!
Lol I think Natural probably looks like my kitchen faucet. It’s a silvery grey that reflects a champagne golden a bit in the kitchen light and some daylight. On an overcast day it looks very grey. I think that may be what we are dealing with regarding the natural titanium.

I’m going through some treatments for autoimmune problems that may give me back my ability to bike, hike and be active again after a hiatus of about 4 years, so in anticipation of that, I got some nice earth toned activewear to keep me focused on the end goal when the meds kick my butt a little bit. There’s quite a bit of khaki color in the shirts and one of the pants IS khaki. The natural titanium is going to look great with these clothes, regardless of whether it’s giving off a grey or taupe/sand cast at any given moment.

But that deep blue is exactly what I’d wanted Apple to make for ages. It’s deep and really true blue. (I had been disappointed in the Pacific Blue for having such strong teal and even green casts in certain lights).

It’s going to be a tough choice! I’m waffling more than I ever anticipated! But it’s a fun, good waffling. No stress, just fun.

What color does everyone think is most versatile with cases? White?
White will go with just about anything from what I’ve seen of trying it with all the case colors on Apple’s site. The natural titanium looks good with most of the cases, especially any with warm toned. It looked okay with bright pink and orange tones, but not as good as white did.

Black never quite comes out as well in their shopping app but in person it looks good with everything whenever I’ve seen it. My daughter has the 14 Pro black in a light floral pink case and it’s very nice.

Blue is a bit tricky.

Grade 5 titanium is another way of saying Ti 6Al-4V. Grade 5 titanium is alloyed with 6% aluminum and 4% vanadium. These components result in a stronger titanium, more resistant to corrosion, scratches, and heat. With a higher price, you would better expect grade 5 titanium.

Figured this was good information since people are talking about scratches

Uff really not sure.
First I was hyped for the blue one… not sure anymore.
Probably black or the white one…

I posted the same thing in the UK thread but, looking at my AWU, the natural titanium looks quite dull. I really like the white 14 pro's silver edges which shine between the screen and the case.

However, I'm going to go with 15 pro max in black this time. Looks quite matte in comparison to the stainless steel shine. It'll be going in a case anyways!

First ever pro max, and I usually buy 256gb version anyways so no price difference year on year. Wife will inherit the 14 pro.

Titanium looks like everyone's kitchen appliances. Boring.

Dark blue is weird, kinda like dark blue socks. Just don't.

Black makes the most sense with cases. The others will distract you with a colored rim around them.

Here's a video from Tim Cook saying he is getting the Natural Titanium - at the 5:19 mark if the link doesn't take you there right away:
