What color are you getting?

What color does everyone think is most versatile with cases? White?
I think any of the colors would work with any case color, because all of these are still very much neutral colors. With that being said, if you are looking for which color fades away the most and let’s a case shine I’d say white.

I’ve been seeing hands on videos of Natural titanium and it looks more like a Space Gray compared to Apple’s official photos which look like a light tan or gold. I might change my mind and get it.

Going natural titanium but saw some videos on YouTube unboxing the new finewoven cases and they are horrible and cheap looking. Going with silicone case this year. Clay silicone with natural titanium.
Yeah, those cases are nasty, like a case made out of a t-shirt.

MKBHD said the Natural Titanium is very close to the Starlight MB Air.

Which some people may be happy with and others won’t.
if' you're referring to his impressions video... he said it "..reminds me [him] of Starlight... kind of like this warm tone".
maybe I'm being pedantic, but I don't know if that's the same as "very close"

In this picture it is white or natural titanium?
I think white but I'm not sure...

Titanium sounds good in theory—not so much in actual pics/videos. Way too many gold/champagne hues for me.

White looks great with the matte titanium, but not good enough to convince me to go back to white.

Blue is whatever.

Black it is. Can’t go wrong with the stealth look, imo.

Is the edge color on the white titanium more like silver or like the natural titanium edge? I’m torn between white and natural.

I have never had a white phone, but natural also looks good. Have to see it in person first.

With the 15 Pro having basically an edge to edge display, would there be any difference externally when using a silicone case? Seems to me only the camera section’s color would be exposed right?
Or am I missing something?

That's true, and you're mostly looking at the front of the phone, so..

Posted this in another thread for anyone worrying about noticing the silver around the display of the White Titanium.

I'm coming from a Space Black 14 Pro Max and was a little worried about choosing White Titanium after reading others worried about the borders around the display. I know the 14 Pro Max obviously isn't the same exact design as the White 15 Pro Max, but I tried a friend's Silver 14 Pro Max without a case and it's not an issue for me. The border around the display is still black and I did not notice the frame's silver color around the display. I know the 15 Pro Max has thinner borders but they're still black.

It's not like the white iPhones from back in the day that had white front panels around the display, which was very noticeable. That's probably why after the 5S, Apple never used white on the front of any iPhone (not talking about the iPhone SE).

At 0:30 Chance Miller from 9To5Mac's hands-on shows the White Titanium and in my opinion, the shiny sides make no difference around the display. Hope this helps, less than 12 hours to go.

Only the housing is titanium though, so the back/front is just coloured to look the same. It’s not titanium underneath the natural coating, so presumably “natural’ will chip as much as any other coating, although less noticeably as than darker colours.

I still think blue is the most elegant design for 2023.

I’m surprised that people don’t bring this point up more often, I completely agree. I went with a silver 14 Pro Max last year and immediately hated the very visible shiny boarders when viewing from the front, especially with a case on it. I’m getting Blue Titanium this year, hoping it’s dark enough (seems very close to Black Titanium) to be less distracting with the boarders.
Also, black matches the screen more. Love white, but most websites and pages are dark modish, so a black phone just fits the display nicer. Also wanna do away with a case this time. Beautiful finishings of these iPhones, and everyone hides it behind sometimes really awkward cases. Guilty as charged, used the Apple leather cases so far until they're torn. Guess I'll have a really used 15 in some time with use marks and stuff.

My 13 mini blue, while I know its aluminium, the colour scratched so easily and it looked awful when I finally turned it in. Don't want that again.
Would the scratches be more due to the material than colour?

Or it could be more due to the colour difference of the external/internal layers of materials.
I'm hoping natural titanium will match my ultra, and also be the least likely to show up scratches
If it’s as per my second sentence above, then you may be right.

You can get ‘frameless’ cases (shells) that still let you see the left & right edges of the phone & allow a naked grip. These are the best style of light/minimalist phone protection imo.
