I got the original version and the box had texture to it. I am not sure the texture is a clear indicator.
agree.

Torras sent me a replacement set that was the newer version and they came in the same box as the first batch

The new one has a textured box
That wasn't the best photo, but the box is textured. I don't have anything to take a photo of the phone with, but it definitely seems to to have tapered edges.

So long for the WSKEN. I woke up with a huge scratch on it. I have tried 3 screen protectors from them. The first one had some problems around the edges letting loose. So I tried the other set. Unfortunately, the applicator had a defect and both screen protectors cracked.

I was just lucky with the one I had. WSKEN also doesn’t ship to The Netherlands anymore. For now I applied an old Torras, inclusive screen cutting. I ordered a new set and hopefully they will send me the new version of their screen protectors.

Edit: I have ordered a new set for the WSKEN and cancelled the Torras. The Torras really is cutting too much. :-(

I’m convinced that Designed for sticker is the true indicator now. The old sticker says “Designed for iPhone 6.1P 2023” and the new version says “Designed for iPhone 15 Pro”

The last pages are recycling only the Torras.

Why we bothering so much for a screen protector with black borders?

Which brands have simple and clean glass?
Only Spigen EZ Fit & Belkin UltraGlass 2?
For the latter, the product code is “OVA133zz”?

Here’s their response. I’m not convinced there is a difference between them until we see a photo of someone showing the sloped edge.
Isn’t Stella the same rep who said they were testing an improved version and started sending it for testing to some people on this thread? This is all getting really confusing with the conflicting statements

Did you compare the two spare protectors side by side or did you go through both of the old ones?
Yes. Very difficult to tell the difference like that but one I put the new one on my phone, there was an improvement in alignment.

Not 100% perfect but 99.5% there and a definite improvement on the first version

I just received the updated version of the Torras. New version no longer has sharp edges. They’re rounded, similar to the esr armorite. Also has much better coverage. Very close to edge to edge. The black border still appears to be obstructing the screen ever so slightly but to a much less extent than before. Maybe like half a millimeter. Barely noticeable.
Can you please get a picture of the new protector? You seem to be the only one who has the new Torras.

She was but then said they wouldn’t be making a different version because the different batch had a better fit.

I didn’t really notice screen issues with the Torras but for those of you that did you should try the WSKEN. It’s been solid for me. Significantly better coverage than the Torras.

Just received the “revised” Torras screen protectors and they are exactly the same as the initial version that I bought on release day. Box is exactly the same except for the “Designed for iPhone 15 Pro”. I even compared the two screen protector's after removing the backing from them.

I tried installing the revised one but both of them ended up misaligned pretty bad so I threw on my spare protector from the release day batch and its perfectly aligned again. The manufacturing process must have had a slight variance when cutting out the alignment holes for the install tray. The entire right side of my screen was being cut off with the test wallpaper.

Pretty upset they would email me about this new version and then send it to me for free just to realize it’s the same border size and no improvement to the edges being rounded.

I have the Torras and have installed them for a few friends. I don’t know which version I have. My box says made for 15pro max but if I use the camera app, at some angles it can obscure the “L” brackets. Honestly it’s such a minor thing and doesn’t cut into anything useful so I don’t really care.

The FLOLAB is interesting because I do notice more glare and theirs seems to reduce that. Also with the edges were curved. I don’t think the edges of the torras are curved, but then again with an andar leather case the edges are some you feel anyway.

Biggest complaint I have is that dust will stick to the edges but I don’t know if any brand has solved that issue. Kinda seems inevitable if the adhesive goes to the edges which it needs to.

Does the Flolab cover any of the pixels, even a minuscule amount? It’s still unclear to me reading all these comments.

Yeah, I was finally able to compare mine to my dad's, he got his at release, and they are pretty much the same. I was thinking mine had more rounded edges but I actually don't see a difference except the sticker on the box.

So there is no new version then, disappointing.

What’s also disappointing is that in some e-mails it seems that they actually have a new version ready to go, in other e-mails it sounds like they are totally clueless when questioned about an updated version, so the whole story leaves you a bit perplexed.

Went with Spigen EZ Fit for both my 15P and my brother’s 15P. Looks great on both with slightly different cases!
Yeah, I think Spigen EZ Fit or Belkin UltraGlass2 are the way to go.

I don’t care about about “full coverage” since the phone is in the case anyway, and these 2 don’t have black borders / not cutting into screen.
