agree.I got the original version and the box had texture to it. I am not sure the texture is a clear indicator.
That wasn't the best photo, but the box is textured. I don't have anything to take a photo of the phone with, but it definitely seems to to have tapered edges. The new one has a textured box
agree.
Torras sent me a replacement set that was the newer version and they came in the same box as the first batch
I’m convinced that Designed for sticker is the true indicator now. The old sticker says “Designed for iPhone 6.1P 2023” and the new version says “Designed for iPhone 15 Pro”That wasn't the best photo, but the box is textured. Isn’t Stella the same rep who said they were testing an improved version and started sending it for testing to some people on this thread? This is all getting really confusing with the conflicting statementsHere’s their response. I’m not convinced there is a difference between them until we see a photo of someone showing the sloped edge.
Yes. Very difficult to tell the difference like that but one I put the new one on my phone, there was an improvement in alignment.Did you compare the two spare protectors side by side or did you go through both of the old ones?
Can you please get a picture of the new protector? You seem to be the only one who has the new Torras.I just received the updated version of the Torras. New version no longer has sharp edges. They’re rounded, similar to the esr armorite. Also has much better coverage. Very close to edge to edge. The black border still appears to be obstructing the screen ever so slightly but to a much less extent than before. Maybe like half a millimeter. Barely noticeable.
She was but then said they wouldn’t be making a different version because the different batch had a better fit.Isn’t Stella the same rep who said they were testing an improved version and started sending it for testing to some people on this thread? According to https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/175ty1v/_/k5suv6r the black borders/screen cutting are comparable with torras so i’m not sure it’s worth the price personally, you get only one protector for more
has anyone tried the flolab?
Thanks for the info. Looks like Torras is the way to goAccording to https://www.reddit.com/r/iphone/comments/175ty1v/_/k5suv6r the black borders/screen cutting are comparable with torras so i’m not sure it’s worth the price personally, you get only one protector for more
Yeah, I was finally able to compare mine to my dad's, he got his at release, and they are pretty much the same. I was thinking mine had more rounded edges but I actually don't see a difference except the sticker on the box.Just received the “revised” Torras screen protectors and they are exactly the same as the initial version that I bought on release day. Box is exactly the same except for the “Designed for iPhone 15 Pro”. I even compared the two screen protector's after removing the backing from them.
I tried installing the revised one but both of them ended up misaligned pretty bad so I threw on my spare protector from the release day batch and its perfectly aligned again. The manufacturing process must have had a slight variance when cutting out the alignment holes for the install tray. The entire right side of my screen was being cut off with the test wallpaper.
Pretty upset they would email me about this new version and then send it to me for free just to realize it’s the same border size and no improvement to the edges being rounded.

Yeah, I think Spigen EZ Fit or Belkin UltraGlass2 are the way to go.Went with Spigen EZ Fit for both my 15P and my brother’s 15P. Looks great on both with slightly different cases!
