Sapphire works for great for the premium cost, its a lot more effective at protecting from scratches than glass. Overall better protection.

If they waited this long to stealth drop it hopefully its built for the curved edges, I emailed them about it and no idea if they'll respond.

I get that it’s better for scratches. I don’t think I’ve ever scratched a screen protector though plus if I did, a replacement is usually included; two protectors for a quarter of the cost of the sapphire one. In my case, I’ve cracked screen protectors and that certainly would be happening with a true sapphire one.

I’m sure they’re nice feeling though!

Is it just me or there are no clear screen protectors for the Pro Max with a cutout for the dynamic island? The ones that I see on Amazon are all privacy screen protectors.

My dynamic islands moves between rectangle to square and back with various functions, so not sure how you would do a cut out for that or want one??

Maybe i am missing something.

My iPhone 14 Pro Max's screen protector has cutouts for both the dynamic island and the front-facing camera.

I guess I don't need a cutout for the dynamic island, but I would love to get a cutout for the FFC. Surprisingly, the only option I see is the privacy screen protectors.

I was sent the new model to test by Stella from customer service. Not sure if they’re available to purchase yet as she stated this version is only partially optimized and not yet the finished product.

If you were to order it, you can differentiate the new model from the old by the packaging. The logo on the new box is now textured instead of glossy and printed.

I’ll get you some pictures of it this afternoon when I have access to another camera.
I just received my order from their website. Is this the old version then? They did ship it from Amazon.

Sorry guys. Had a busy weekend. Here’s some pictures of the new packaging. The entire box is textured. If the box you have is smooth and glossy, you likely have the old version.

Good to know. I definitely received an old version but honestly I think it fits just fine. I noticed mine says “Designed for iPhone 6.1P 2023” instead of “Designed for iPhone 15 Pro” like yours says. That may be an indicator of the updated version.

Due to the nature of sapphire I don’t think they make them with curved edges. None of the older sapphire brands make them that way either. IMOs has a really good looking Corning gorilla glass with real curved edges. Looks so clean. Just can’t get myself to go back to regular glass.

Another question about this protector. I know you said the coverage is better, does this make the protector less case friendly? I had to shave down the edge of my case to fit the current one, so if this one is larger, I don't think my case will work.

The coverage is better but it’s still not quiet edge to edge. I haven’t had any issues with the sheath or spigen enzo aramid.

Went from the AMFilm to the Belkin UltraGlass 2 and now I see what people mean when they talk about the coatings on these protectors. The difference, at least for me, is staggering in that respect. Purchased off Amazon for £24.99.

Got my WSKEN in on Friday and somehow ended up with a misaligned install despite the installer frame. Not sure how that happened. 🥲
I applied a new one and the install is perfect. Using the test images linked in earlier comments, I can see the entire image and none of it is blocked by the protector. Better than old Torras.

Excited for the new Torras with curved edges 👀

My new Torras should be here tomorrow. Anyone else have one and going to take the leap on install to be the first to post reviews/pics? :D
I installed mine over the weekend and I'm impressed so far. The edges feel much smoother/ rounded. Mine wen't on slightly crooked so I am getting some overlap in the top right and bottom left corners. But if that didn't happen I would say it is 99% perfect.

Do you use a case with it? Curious if the edges will be noticeable with a case on.

I got mine and installed. It still cuts off the edge of the screen when using that wallpaper, but it is more even on both sides and I will say .1mm better? Hard to say because it was so slight before. The edges don’t feel any different to me, but maybe they are curved? Hard to tell. It does feel like they are closer to the edge of the display, ever so slightly!

If you’re happy with the first Torras installation, I would stick with it. I don’t think the improvement is worth risking messing up the application. I’ll put my case back on and see how dusty the edges get with the new design, or if I can even tell a difference.

You can confirm you have the newer one? Your packaging was different? You’d certainly be able to tell the difference between the rounded vs non-rounded edges.

The packaging was the same but I had the textured box the first time. What I assume is the batch number on back was different, but everything else looked the same.

What does the “Designed for” sticker say on the back of the new one you installed?

According to the comment right below this one the new one might say “Designed for iPhone 15 Pro” instead of “6.1P” so it sounds like you have an older one.
I thought about that but the one posted earlier says made for iPhone 15 Pro Max. I wonder if they printed that on the Max versions and not the regular? It could be an old version, I’ll have to see if anyone else ends up with one saying designed for 15 Pro.

So after purchasing and failing to install the Spigen screen protector SIX TIMES without bubbles, I finally purchased the “new” Torras screen protector and installed it perfectly after just one try. There were a couple bubbles, but I pushed them out successfully.

If you’re on the fence about getting the Torras, I highly recommend it.

Wish I would have done it sooner.
