IMOs and shellrus sapphire arrived. Went with the shellrus this time around. No cut on screen as long as you put it on perfectly. Off axis it cuts out. Reason I did not go IMOs was the visible branding still. I saw a video on their page showing it was invisible and what appeared to only show up with UV light but I guess it was regular light. Perfect fit with the rebel gen 5
Still contemplating to get either the hoda or shellruss
Did you use the supplied install kit ? Does it fit perfectly using it ? or should you manually put it with out any tools to achieve the perfect fit ?

Been a fan of sapphire screen protector
Imos on my 7,6,8,x and 11
Shellrus on my 12,14
Hoda on my 13

For me the quality is comparable among them
The only differences is the cut out
So i dont know for this year 15 , which has the better cutout.

IMOs has always had the smoothest oleophobic coating that I can tell. I started with IMOs on the iPhone 6 and stuck with them till the 12 which I then alternated between shellrus And IMOs. Never tried Hoda but if it’s sapphire I’m sure they do a good job. Between the shellrus and IMOs I could see IMOs has a bit more border. But neither has a top or bottom cut out so it can go either way. Install tray is decent just don’t fully drop it till you have it lined up because it will throw it off a bit in the up down direction.

Tried 4 of the WSKEN screen protectors for 15PM with really bad results. The glue (?) didn’t stick to the borders after following instructions, with permanent air bubbles over the entire border as a result. Extremely frustrating, how hard can it be to find a good protector? Think I’m going without one

Go with the one Apple installing in their shop. Belkin UltraGlass 2.

Just ordered mine. Sick of wasting money on the likes of Torras and others with different defects.

Yeah thanks I might, or try the cheaper AMfilm first. Or none, my 13 Pro still looks good after 2 years without protector. Never thought I could waste so much time searching for and applying screen protectors. Hopefully Amazon will refund me for the faulty WSKEN ones. They all looked like the one in the photo after cleaning thoroughly with the alcohol wipe, cloth and dust sticker provided by WSKEN. Worked in a phone store during my student years so I’m not at total idiot with screen protectors 😉

Thinking of doing the same. My Spigen is fitting Okish but no more. Got the Torras, but seen just the one perfect fit posted here.

You should definitely qualify for refund from Amazon.

I would give Spigen a go, as I’ve been happy with their stuff in the past, but I cannot find it on Amazon UK since release…

So after trying Torras (way overpriced btw), ESR and JETech all with issues, I ordered Belkin UltraGlass2.

Was going to spoil myself a lil bit and get sapphire one from Hoda, but after seeing that “tab” covering the earpiece/ speaker.. it’s a no for me.

I tried this with torras. I can make out the red around the screen just looking at it straight on. Some parts of it i can tell maybe one or two microns are covered.

Honestly i think thats not the end of the world.
Happy to hear it, mine seems to ever so slightly misaligned then.

🚨 Good News: Torras just emailed me overnight and said "Our screen protectors are now partially optimized being ready for testing, so you can try them out!I hope to get some advice from you when the time comes!" and said they would be sending me one today. 🤞

Me neither. That plus the $50 shipping/custom fees.

Can you please post some pics when your Belkin is installed? Thanks in advance.

What I heard is that there is only one produces for the sapphire to tool them. Hoda and IMOS had the same delay and shipped at the same time so it would make sense that they are coming from the same factory, just branded differently. The Oeleophobic coating is very nice on my hoda but I also never had issues with the Shellrus. For me Shellrus has a way too expensive shipping for outside the US. With all Taxes and stuff a Screen Protector from them would almost cost me 150$ which is way to much. For Hoda I paid 60 with shipment which is still a lot but imo for a sapphire ok.

My Hoda has the Hologram on the top left side. You can see it when the sun Shines directly on it with AOD/Display off. Otherwise you can`t see it and it does not bother me.

Exactly.
I received the same message from Stella @Torras… I guess will see when will get it.
Are you guys getting replacements? I have the OG one, which I think is fine, but wouldn’t mind getting an updated optimized one.

It’s up to their discretion.
They may or may not send out replacements to some of us.

Send them an email and have your order number ready to cut time with ping/pong emails.

Just like Dean said. I originally reached out to get a replacement after cracking one and then I asked if they were working on a revised version and I wouldn't mind waiting for that.

Question about the Torras: how does one know if he's buying the revised version, or still the "old" one?

I'll only get my phone in December so I suppose that by then they will only sell the new ones, but would be nice to be 100% sure of it.

Thank you.

I would guess you won't get an updated one on Amazon for a while. If you order for the iPhone 15 on the Torras website, I assume you will get an updated one once they post that the new model is available.

I would assume the revised ones don't eat into the screen--if the one you have does do that then you could email them asking for a revised one.

If you're waiting until December, I'd assume you'll get a revised one by then.

I didn't get an email from Torras about the updated ones being available so I responded to my original thread with them and asked if they had enough updated ones available. I might wait until someone else tries to apply to see how they're improved. My application is perfect with no dust so I'd hate to remove it and replace it to still have part of the screen covered.

You think it's safe to say that (once the screen covering issue will be sorted) the Torras is probably going to be the overall best one this year?

From what I'm seeing it's the one with the highest reviews.

In all these years I always bought Spigen (even for my family, etc.) and I never had issues with them, but this year I'm reading some complaints (I suppose a consequence of the screen being a little curved).

What issues did you have with JETech? I installed these on my 15 (non-Pro) and I like it a lot, especially for the price. So I am curious to hear what your experience was.
