my torras arrived. I'm happy with it, it's the best one I've used so far and I've used armorite and AmFilm. The benefit of the torras is that it's slightly taller and wider than armorite and the alignment tray is perfect.

I would probably go with Spigen simply because they don’t have the black borders.

Torras feels nice for me, but those tiny mm that’s covering the screen is driving me nuts and I feel like I’m looking at my phone through a window frame.
Can you tell in day to day use or does it mostly just show when using the camera?

I can tell whenever I use the phone.
I don’t care about the camera L’s.

I don’t know how to explain it, but it feels like the display sits far behind the glass because of the black bezels cutting a little bit into the screen.

What was your experience with the AmFilm?

What's the negative of having Black boarders?

Has anyone tried any sapphire screen protectors this year for the 15 Pro Max? Any brands compatible with most cases like the Mous 5.0?

I see Shellrus, Hoda and iMos are the main brands, heard the first two are allegedly made from the same company but Shells are much more expensive and are trickier to install. Hoda and iMos both are much less expensive but still have watermarks on them that are faint to see from what I read.

iMos also has a disclaimer on some screens being uneven and to buy them from local retailers, I'm just looking for whatever is more case friendly and lines up as even as possible

For me the Torras is the best screen protector I have ever used. I cannot tell the Torras eats into the screen at all. It looks almost perfect with a simple installation. There may be 0.01mm of screen coverage, but for my eyes I just don’t notice it. The ESR was obvious to me though because it covered a large amount of the screen. Good luck!

This is the image Torras are using for testing as per their support on Amazon.

And it’s decided ordered the Belkin. Figured there must be a reason Apple use it?

So i had a perfect installation with amfilm. the problem with screen protectors that are just barely bigger than the screen is you really feel it when you do swipe gestures. FOr example, to swipe up, you will feel your thumb catch up against the edge of the screen protector. Something you don't get with Torras as much.

This is especially evident with a case. With torras, my finger starts on the case and goes straight to the protector. With amfilm you're caught in this space.

There is still 1 pack of Torras screen protectors, and I asked my girlfriend to install it on my iPhone 15 Pro Max once again. I've put literally hundreds of screen protectors in my life, she has only installed them a few times and this one is by far the easiest I’ve ever used. Some bubbles are acceptable to me, she will show you how she removes them also.

Installation tips for Torras Diamond Shield screen protector:

1. Pinch the indentations on both sides and tear along the strip.
20231024-184011.jpg

2. Draw a vertical line in the middle of the phone screen.

3. My girlfriend used the most aggressive method to remove bubbles, but many review videos show that you can simply use the included scraper from the packaging. However, I prefer her method.

4. No black borders.

My Hoda Sapphire Screen Protector arrived today and I love it.

Before I installed it I compared the Size to the Torras and WSKEN. It is a bit bigger than the Torras and almost the exact size as the WSKEN.

Hoda wanted to ship their Sapphire Screen Protector on September 28 and postponed it to late October because they (and also all others) found out that the Edges are curved. They had to engineer it and I am happy about it.

The black Boarders feel a little bit sharper than the WSKEN but about the same as the Torras. It should be no problem with or without case. For Hoda has the same "issue" as the WSKEN. If the Lip of your case will go too far into the screen it may lift. IMO this will maybe the case for Otterbox Defender.
Benks Aramid Pro, Caudabe Sheath and Leather Cases are no issue. Even the Sheath has a small lip. It fits almost perfectly and has maybe only 1mm between Screen Protector and Case. It is perfect for me. It has also that little notch like the WSKEN but it is not that high and has speaker wholes in it.

The best about it: If I test it with the Boarder Wallpaper like many suggested, it does not cut the screen. See pictures. I don`t know why but because of the Reflection the Boarder looks hughe on camera. But trust me, it is better than Torras and WSKEN.

It is hard to take pictures with my old Canon G7X as it reflects and Focus is hard. I still tried.

I tried to do another picture with my work Phone of the Boarder. It looks thicker on the bottom side of the picture because I could not take the picture from above. It reflects too much. The line has the same thickness all around.

Can you take pictures of your phone caseless so we can see how close it gets to the edges?

Has anybody tried both Torras and the UltraGlass? They seem to use the same alignment tool and practically same packaging. But, I've heard better things abut UltraGlass. Wondering if they are the same?

They’re the same.
Different regions, different names.

I had the ones from Amazon UK Torras GlassGo, sent back and received UltraGlass, same problem. Both covering few mm’s from screen and driving me nuts.

I was going to spend a bit more and buy Hoda sapphire one, but after seeing few post earlier that has that “tab” over the earpiece / speaker, it’s a big NO.
Seriously I don’t understand why they would do that? Looks terrible, dust trapped behind is impossible to clean and will probably affect speaker loudness when used in a case.

From the photos posted by previous user with the Hoda protector and with case on, the speaker is fully covered.

Sorry, but that tab is terrible.
The speaker is completely covered when used with a case.

I rather use the phone without any protector or buy the Belkin one which is probably the best one that Apple installs themselves in shops.

It is the same like the WSKEN. Because the Sheath also has a nob for the Speaker it looks strange. But you can only see it close up. So I don`t mind and the Speaker is still the same as without the tab.

There must be some reason for the WSKEN to have that tab, I wonder what it is. Manufacturing process or something? It is super weird it would cover the speaker like that, even if it seems to not affect the sound.

I don’t know what could be the reason, but I’m certain I would never buy a screen protector that would cover the speaker completely when used with a case.

For now I think the best screen protector available without any issues is the one Apple is using, Belkin UltraGlass 2.

IMOs and shellrus sapphire arrived. Went with the shellrus this time around. No cut on screen as long as you put it on perfectly. Off axis it cuts out. Reason I did not go IMOs was the visible branding still. I saw a video on their page showing it was invisible and what appeared to only show up with UV light but I guess it was regular light. Perfect fit with the rebel gen 5
