My Flolab developed a bubble in the corner after just a few weeks on the phone. I’m never buying from them again, this whole experience with them has been terrible.

Idk about WSKEN but I use Torras Diamond Shield and it works with all the cases I’ve tried. Nearly a perfect fit with the PR. Super easy install.
Agreed so far. The WSKEN has been fantastic but the only concern is that some cases don’t play well with the little speaker cover at the top. I wish they would just get rid of it.
I’m going to give the updates Torras a try because my new Nomad Sport case touches the speaker lip just barely. Otherwise the WSKEN has been consistently the best with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

I just compared the old and new torras screen protectors and It appears the upgraded “3d” version just has bigger black borders that curve in. The glass is the same dimensions. Have not installed yet.

That’s a crap move. I’m cancelling my order until we can see a comparison between the old and new. Thanks for the heads up!

yeah I don’t notice any difference in the visible screen versus the original. But it is still an improvement over the originals imo

Where’s the improvement? It’s not in coverage by the sound of it. Is it just the curved edges?

It looks more seamless because it goes closer to the edge of the phone. And the curved edges make it nicer to use when you’re swiping in from the edges, and they catch less dust.

According to @TotalMacMove the new protector has the same dimensions as the older ones. Are you seeing a difference in coverage?

Yes, the overall dimensions are definitely different. The clear glass could be the same dimensions, it’s hard to tell, but the edges certainly get closer to the edge of the phone.

The original were already pretty close so unless you put it on the phone and were obsessive about how it looks on the phone like me it may not look that different, but they did change the size slightly.

Hmm, interesting. IMO the original had inferior coverage compared to the WSKEN which is the best one so far.

WSKEN was terrible for me, both installations. Bought the Torras, hoping that’s better.

I didn’t get the WSKEN but from the photos I’ve seen here I would guess the new Torras is comparable in that it’s barely visible. In a photo I’m not sure you could see it unless the light hits it just right.

Just installed the updated Torras (3D version) and it definitely has the same amount of black border cutting into the screen but the border now wraps around the edge of the screen. Makes it nice to use case less, no sharp edges. Essentially all they did was make the black border wider and curved for a flush finish. Not worth the update if you’re hoping it doesn't cut into screen real estate, the clear part of the protector has the same dimensions (measured with a caliper).

Totally agree. I've now purchased 2 WSKEN, each came with 2 protectors in the box, so I've attempted 4 installations and all had air bubbles I couldn't get rid of or dust under the protector no matter how hard I tried. So I absolutely gave up. Tried the Torras and it worked brilliantly.

At this point I'm going without a screen protector. None of the ones I've tried have been acceptable, either they cut off the screen or they degrade the experience. I'll check back on the state of things in a few months.

This is the WSKEN model I purchased and after doing 3 different installs, I’ve had zero issues with bubbles or dust. YMMV.

Hmmm, that’s different to the one I bought. Here’s the one I purchased:

One big improvement is that the edges no longer pick up little fuzzies from being in your pocket. I never knew you could have a screen protector without it getting all linty, but the updated Torras hasn't caught any that I've noticed so far. I don't think you will notice much else about the updated model if you use a case, but the lack of fuzzy edges is a definite improvement also.

This is probably incredibly picky of me but this tiny bit at the side of the screen not adhering properly is annoying me. I’ve tried about 5 different screen protectors and they all seem to have this issue at some area around the edge of the protector. Is this just normal or is there a way to get rid of it?

This is the Torras screen protector for anyone wanting to know.

I got the Torras in the UK today, it's fine, love the dust removal kit, that's a cool innovation but it does cut the screen off. Feel like we've reverted back to the iPhone 6 days.

I had an amFilm on from release day that the oleophobic coating didn't last on but it stayed on without issue. A bit of rainbowing at the edges but frankly that annoys me less than the screen being cut off.

Do any "edge to edge" ones exist that don't cut off the screen?
