Has anyone who has used the Torras protector ever noticed a reduction in screen sensitivity?

I fitted the Torras this week and feel like ever since I’m making WAY more errors when typing because the odd letter gets missed. Don’t feel I ever had this before.

Both me and my cousin went for the Torras for ours 15 PM and we're happy with it.

Installation was easy (a few bubbles on mine but I got rid of them quite easily), the protector is 99,9% edge to edge so it's practically invisible, no issues of it cutting into the screen.

I noticed that this whole "cutting into screen" saga depends also from which angle you're watching your phone.

If you're "aligned" with it, it's perfect.

If you move your face on the left or on the right then it cuts-in a tiny bit (you can make the classic camera app test) but this depends from the angle, not from the actual screen protector.

For me it's not an issue at all, the only thing that annoys me is that some dust gets stuck on the edges, but I remember reading somewhere that it gets better over time.

I'm using the TORRAS Upgraded DiaShield 3D for iPhone 15 Pro Max Screen Protector Tempered Glass. The most satisfying thing for me is that it Stay Fingerprint & Smudge-Free, keeping my screen pristine. I hate it when the screen looks dirty
I'm tempted 👀

Has anyone else tried this new release?

How long have you had the Torras installed? I went with Flolab but the fingerprints started accumulating only a few weeks in, and now I end up wiping the screen multiple times per day.

Torras screen protector form amazon for 15 Pro - excellent item smooth and hard to see it on the phone. First time the orangefitting device broke and screen cover had bubbles and messy - second y=time all OK and when I contacted Torras online they replied next day and sent me a new free replacement replacement of two cases and apologised - cannot fault them at all quick to respond and react to help customer when needed. Will buy Torras again and will try the cases fir 15 Pro rather than Finewoven ones

When people are saying it cuts into the screen, they are referring to the visible area being affected when viewing straight on.

With any black border screen protector, if you view the phone from a steep enough angle the visibility will be affected.

Just ordered the 3D version and will compare to the older “2.5D” since i have 4 spare protectors from the times they claimed they revised them and ended up being the exact same product. I have had the torras protector on since the 15 released and finally got one to fit near perfect with only a small portion of the bottom border cutting into the screen.

I just got an email this morning from Ultraglass. As far as I know Ultraglass is a rebranded Torras.
In the email they said they are not releasing the 3D version yet because the edges break too easily.
I’m curious how the 3D Torras hold up.

What screen protector would you guys say is better out of the Torras or WSKEN?
I did a mini-write up comparing Torras and WSKEN.

WSKEN is still on my phone looks as good as the day I first installed with no case.

It came in today and I just applied it. There is definitely a difference. The corners are rounded and you can’t feel your finger catching on the edges if you don’t have a case like you can on the original. The edge goes closer to the edge of the phone, I really doubt anyone could tell there is a screen protector on unless you were the one who applied it. It looks seamless.

Time will tell how much the edges catch dust. With a case I don’t know that it’s worth the upgrade, but if you don’t use one, this new model is definitely the better choice. If it turns out there isn’t as much dust, I would say it’s worth it even with a case. But I don’t think it will work with thick cases that cover the edges. I use the fine woven and there is no issues with fit.

It still cuts off the edges of the screen, maybe a little more on the corners? I can’t really tell, it isn’t that much worse, but it is still an issue. Let me know if anyone has any questions.

Thank you so much for following up on this! Been eagerly awaiting your post.

What do these images look like with it installed? How bad is the cut off? I really want those rounded edges but can’t stand it eating into screen real estate

With those you can’t really tell it’s cutting off the screen. You can see all the line and there’s just the faintest bit of haziness around the line on the left and right where you can see it’s covering maybe .25mm? It’s really really faint.

Just to check, which protector is this about? Could you link to it?
