I feel like I'm in a minority here, but I actually really like the colors this year 😍

...the improved camera and Dynamic Island are pretty good too, I guess.
Yeah, this year’s iPhone 15 is a solid update. Also, I don’t know if they tweaked the A16 Bionic because some leaked benchmarks give it better performance than the iPhone 14 Pro one. Maybe the aluminum chasis helps it dissipate better the heat? I don’t know.

The colors are nice, but some prefer more saturated colors, like myself. Despite that, the green is pretty nice.

Regular 15 line still having a 60hz screen is typical Apple. At least should have a 90hz screen minimum for that price. The Nothing Phone 2 is cheaper and has a 120hz display.

from a tech fan i see your vision, but from the Apple standpoint, why would they? the average iphone user does not care enough for higher refresh rate. Your typical TV, Car display, office desktop are 60hz. There is just no HUGE demand for such Technology. 60 is not slow, it’s not fast, but it’s just enough. Remember, we are just a small minority of enthusiasts and fans, like a drop of water in a ocean

Same price and more stuff - surely its a win for the "basic" model - Oh wait I forgot I was here on MR - EPIC FAIL @!@@@

After bashing these colors I caved and got a pink 15, partly for the color and curved front glass, but also after 2 years with Pro Max phones my wrists ache like all the time. I noticed when I would switch back to my previous normal-sized aluminum iphones the ache would go away after a few days. Maybe guys don’t have this problem? Maybe I need to get to the gym more often? 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ll miss the 120hz display, but I think that’s all I’ll really miss about it

I really like the colours this time. Won't be getting iPhone until proper side loading a la Android or even macOS is implemented/

What new design? It's the same design as iPhone 12. And if you have an iPhone 12, you don't need to upgrade. If you have an iPhone 12 Mini, you don't even want to upgrade.

Sick of these huge phones. No reason to upgrade, at all. Phones became so boring, especially iPhones. So flat.

There's dozens of hardware and software upgrades in this generation alone, never mind since iPhone 12
What a doom and gloom post, jeez

The regular models have dynamic island too. 120hz would be nice, but I'm not spending $300 more for it and lugging around a heavier phone! Seems weird for you to promote the Pros so heavily... folks buying the regular models know what they're doing. ;)
Because me as consumer see a MAJOR upgrade from standard to PRO. Not from a standard to standard.

The point is all about "MAJOR", there's no major, period...

I, as a consumer, care about the port a lot

I think the port is more interesting than promotion. I can see the difference, but don't care in the slightest.

It's all kinda boring this year, but the screen is fine. The Pro Max is too big..
I do care too, but that's in no way a MAJOR upgrade...

Since reviewers are in scarcity due to small year-to-year upgrades, they're calling it a MAJOR upgrade when apple replace the connector! Even when they do for a 15 year old standard!

They replaced the connector just because Europe push them. That's it...

I'm in no way bashing apple... But to call it MAJOR is just misleading. Many might upgrade expecting MAJOR and will end up disappointed..

Also, how come someone put emphasis on the rear of the phone. If it's bright or matte, most of consumer will have it encaged in a case!!

If you’re not a camera freak or a neurotic nerd there really isn’t much point in getting a pro. I’m both so it’s good for me but not for everyone. Some people I show can’t even tell the difference between pro motion on/off, it’s night and day to me.
can't agree more..

Haven't noticed any wrist aching, but I will say (contrary to what some say) that I immediately noticed the heft difference of my phone when I upgraded from my 12 to the 14 Pro. This, and the fact that most of what I like about the Pro (and actually USED) is coming to the base 15, is why I'm trading in my 14 Pro on a base 15.

Well I guess that point is arguable, but comparing standard to Pro isn't apples to apples (...no joke intended)

If I said "Here's a major upgrade, you just need to spend $300 more," you would not consider it an "upgrade." Of course a more $$ product has more features.

they are pushing the iPhone towards teenagers, pro models are ugly, heavy and expensive, but that's alright for apple, they have their customers in a close environment so they rely on people "having to" choose between ugly teenagers colours, boring design, etc. they are alright with that.
