Thanks. The lumen has always been interesting, but now retails for $70 along with the same proposed price of the symmetry with cc button. Yikes. As mentioned, the symmetry with cc will likely be only the clear model at first.
Yeah, the $70 price is pretty crazy, especially when you compare it to the Spigen UHT which is similar, but arguably even a better case, and can be had for $21 with free shipping directly from Spigen on eBay. I suspect the Lumen pricing reflects the fact that it's sold in Apple Stores.

Clear cases, especially non matte ones get so oily and scratched up I will probably avoid those, especially since I have a clear ghost 2.0 order. The only reason I even have that on the list is because of the free case promise for all the 1.0 owners. Otherwise, I would definitely not pre order one for $70 or whatever they are asking when they open to the general public.
I'm not a fan of clear cases in general. They're too much work to keep looking decent.

after seeing @AE14 and @Joe123Joe posts on the supcase grip case, i bought one. it’s a little more rugged than i’m used to but a solid case. the kickstand is great and works well for me as a finger ring. i like the look and feel of it. for me the criticism of the cc cover is not fair. it works great for me. i only notice a slight difference between it and apples case when sliding to change a setting. for me i find it a positive as its not so sensitive. a great case for $25.

Agreed. Love this case, especially for the price point. UAG is asking 70-80 bucks for the same thing, with No camera button.

Good to hear, never tried the prior PR cases so hopefully it lives up to the hype within reason.
I’ve tried so many on Amazon.

G6 is number 1.

Damn. Massive earthquake as I typed this.

No more frosty love?

only frosty flex ..I despise the cutout in all these cases

Was that #3?
Including the original purchase yes number 3 . Even this one gave me a scare case there was some white stuff on it but thankfully water took care of it. I clearly described the camera cutout situation wrong tho cause each case has it. Maybe not sharp was the right word. A texture on the edge right above the camera cutout out

I’ve been using non matte clear cases for several years now and I’ve never known for them to get scratched up or oily. Fingerprints yes but those are easily wiped off. 🤔

I believe when people say “oily” or “greasy” they’re talking about fingerprints and smudges. That’s my interpretation anyway.

For those of you who have the Phone RebelGen6, I have a few questions..

1. Will the Nomad Rugged UBC Cable fit with this case?
2. Is the screwdriver that comes with the components kit sufficient or should I buy a better one?

I don't have a Nomad cable but the tiny screwdriver that comes with the PR kits sucks.
This is the correct one that I use and can be purchased on Amazon.

Such a nice case, one of my most used last year. That said, I’ve become so acclimated to super skinny cases now that even going back to the Apple Silicone feels bulky. o_O
I'm tempted to try the Caudabe Veil case..........waiting for their Black Friday deals to hit

What ultra thin cases would you recommend? Anything other than the pitaka/benks?
I haven’t had much experience with these types of aramid fiber cases, but I’ll share a few thoughts.

I checked out a friend’s Latercase but never owned one. It looked nice, but the lack of MagSafe was a deal breaker for me. Thinborne is heavily promoted on social media, but I can’t help but feel like they’re rebranded AliExpress cases (they deny it). Then there are the no-name knock-offs on Amazon and AliExpress that I would advise against. I tried a couple of them, and they were pretty bad.

I believe that leaves Pitaka and Benks. Pitaka was the original, while Benks is a bit of a copycat, which is perfectly acceptable in my opinion. Benks are a better value, but I believe Pitaka has better quality control and a better finish (although others may disagree). Plus, I prefer their colors (totally subjective, of course).

That’s my two cents. 😊

That’s fair enough but then there are other non clear cases which have the same issue. I don’t think it’s something that solely affects clear cases.
