QC is all over the place.

Weaving is very impressive but the area around tpu is not finished as good as the weaving. Shows white lines etc. Buttons rattle as well.
Bummer. That has been exactly my experience with Benks - consistently inconsistent. They have a lot going for them, but their quality control is not at the level it needs to be IMO. I was hoping this new top-of-the-line case would put that behind them, but with yours and @Hooterville ‘s Prestige cases both having the same types of small defects I’ve seen in the past, it appears to be business as usual.

They’re either getting cherry picked copies, they aren’t looking close enough, they’re rushing to get their reviews out early, or they’re hesitant to be too critical for fear of damaging supplier relations. Whatever the deal is, it’s hard for me to take most online reviews seriously these days.
I 100% agree.

Just swapped from a 16 max to 16 pro, back to square one lol
Don't think I will get the Nomad traditional again $100AUD

Thinking just get a black apple silicone and be done warts and all, cutouts are a bit annoying on the max cases so imagine same on the pro so knocks out most.
Spigen with CC is expensive here.
If the smudges and dust bother you on the black sili, get the stone gray; it’s much better.

Do you use the CC button? Thoughts?
i’m not a heavy user of the cc button. take my opinion with a grain of salt as i found the supcase perfect. i use the cc button to open the camera and as a shutter. i rarely change settings with it. i find myself playing with it, adjusting settings to test, but not using it to change settings when really using the camera. i like the main camera lens best and mostly use it. for my use case the button is perfect. i really like the even flat side so you don’t really know it’s there. and as far as accidental presses of it, in settings apple has some options to avoid that. i don’t find myself accidentally pressing it. all that said, i still am constantly considering swapping to the grip or something else because i like to place facedown anywhere and with this i can’t. i’ve got a perfect install of my screen protector and id like to keep it scratch free.

4 months in and I keep coming back to the Nomad Rugged. It was my fave on my last phone (the 14) and though ive tried some others—Sheath, Paragon, Andar, Apple Silicone—the in hand feel and aesthetics of the rugged make it my go to. The fact that it will protect my phone from any fall had practically no bearing on my decision here. It just needs a CC button!

Is this nomad rugged review correct?

3.0 out of 5 stars Tight fit but a bit sharp

A very tight fit around the phone which is nice. Tactile buttons that make a click sound is very good. The only downside is that it has sharp contours along the back which makes the phone uncomfortable to hold. Maybe a good thing if you want to spend less time on the phone.
