after testing 10-15 cases this year (very challenging year for case manufacturers) including companies like Nomad (leather modern case, liked it but it’s not perfect).
Otterbox Cactus, PhoneRebel (Flex), Spigen NeoHybrid (with cc button), Beats case, and few other well known brands, I come to conclusion that on 17 series I’ll have that 2 cases only (really hope I will manage to do that :) )

RyanLondon leather with cc button, as a fan and a heavy user of the Apple Silicon case, this is the best replacement, and it’s the first time I tried it and it’s incredible (tried Mujjo since Apple didn’t make the leather case, RL is much better).
And Apple silicone case.

Those two are the best for me.

Looks like my Owl has a ring now from my Torras magsafe kickstand/ring that I keep on there all day/every day. Doesn't bother me, I suppose because it's covered, haha...

The case has been an absolute winner.

Same. Is what it is. Same happens with all cases with similar material. Doesn’t bother me.

They’re either getting cherry picked copies, they aren’t looking close enough, they’re rushing to get their reviews out early, or they’re hesitant to be too critical for fear of damaging supplier relations. Whatever the deal is, it’s hard for me to take most online reviews seriously these days.
Can’t take any reviews seriously because it’s either a paid promotion, free stuff or affiliate stuff … I think this forum has more real user reviews thanks YouTube ….

Weird, because all of my TineeOwl cases have been fine. Buttons work well, CC button is good, fit is pretty good. I guess maybe their QC isn't good since not everyone's case is good. Sucks, because for the price and if the QC was good all around, it would be a pretty good case. I hate to see some having issues with it, while others aren't.

That's the beauty of Amazon. Get a bad one? Rinse and repeat easy peasy.

For sure. I’ve returned so many fricken’ defective cases to Amazon it’s ridiculous. Of all the different brands, it’s actually been Apple’s own cases that have been the most consistently defect-free in my experience.

I’m back with the Chronos Spigen. I tried the Ghost 2.0, but the lip is almost nonexistent, making my phone feel bulky. I keep switching between the Spigen and the Silicone Apple, which has the best feel and minimalism.

Once I order two cases and it’s bad then it’s in the toilet for me. The model that I do have is decent but I’m not hyped about it. Don’t want to recommend something when it’s going to be hit or miss the type of quality they will get.

This thought process will never go away and it’s sickening, degrading all the hard work that creators put in to produce good content to think we are selling out for a $40 case.

You are very upfront about you not selling out to the case brands, and I trust you, but there are plenty of YTers that aren’t upfront and they do sell out for a case. It does suck that all are labeled like that, but it is true in some cases.

Switched over to the Tineeowl. Fit is good, MagSafe works well for wallet, battery pack, and chargers, texture IMO is better than the dbrand grip and the sheath. Camera control button is probably just ok.

Honestly, for $19 it’s a really solid all around case. My rankings seem to be changing over time with more use.
