So how many cases does everyone have/use?
Nine. Currently using the Phone Rebel Gen6 Ultra. If that had come out on iPhone release day, I probably would only have one case.

Two that I will never use again: Caudabe Sheath and Spigen Tough Armor T. The former, because I hate hate hate the cutout. The latter because of the flush buttons I can never find by feel.

I needed this, just in case I have a weak moment and think about buying the sheath in its current form!

Here's my tale of woe (I've posted this before, but it's dozens of pages back):

I bought the Sheath for release day delivery because I loved the Sheath on my 12 Pro. After a few days, I realized I couldn't live with the cutout, and returned it to Caudabe. It was replaced by an Apple Denim silicone case, which is still in the rotation.

On Black Friday, Caudabe had a 30% off sale on the Sheath. Missing it, and remembering how much I liked that case on the 12 Pro, I bought it again. With so many things that I like about the Sheath, I thought maybe I could live with the cutout. Wrong! Too embarrassed to return it for a second time, it's tucked away in a closet - unused and unloved.

So how many cases does everyone have/use?
I have three cases. A Spigen clear Ultra Hybrid T, a Dbrand Ghost 2.0 ( still in its shipping packaging and not opened ) and a really cheap leather ( if it is indeed leather ) case I got from Ali Express. I tried the Ali Express case but didn’t like the feel of it.

I’ve pretty much been using the Ultra Hybrid T since launch which I do like a lot. I’m still after a solid colour case with a CC button cover that works as well as the Spigen and Apple cases but haven’t found one yet.

So Sheath?
I'm 99% sheath but that's because I cannot believe how much I love holding my Tinee Owl case. It really surprised me because I was all about leather cases until this Owl. And I assume the Owl is basically a ripoff of the sheath.

+1 no issues with mine either. To me it’s the best case for the 16 pro max
Great case aside from it not sitting flush on the frame by the camera control button. If you post a pic it will be there. Minor but an issue to some. It’s all subjective.

Surprised you will go for the Paragon tbh. Most people swear by the Sheath
I guess it is all opinions!
The Sheath, in my opinion, used to be a great case.

It’s now so bulky and the texture is a lot rougher than it used to be that it’s not a minimalistic case anymore except in design.

The Paragon is still not the slimmest but it feels really slim in the hand and the texture of the edges is so much less harsh than the Sheath that it’s great in hand.

I don’t currently use it but I am tempted to go back, colours dependant when the CC button version comes out

I see,

TBH I had the Sheath a couple of years ago and I was not impressed with the sandpaper like feel of the case. My hands could never adjust to it even though many people are a fan of how the Sheath feels in the hand.

That's a great description for the feel of the Owl (which I, again, assume is a sheath-a-like), and I have no idea why I like it so much, but I do.

Back is slippery, sides are grippy like a cats tongue
hey!

PR Gen 6 Ultra now with free Desert Gold or Ultra Orange or Matte Silver component kit. Not sure if that works out cheaper than the previous 18% discount.

Might have gone for it if the Folding Orange kit was an option (want the flat buttons) but it's not and with the £16 shipping I'm still out.
May go for it if the same offer is there when the above kit is available, though the nasty port hole finishing all of them seem to have is also putting me off too.

As it happens I'm REALLY enjoying using the Benks ArmorPro Montage (with CC) at the mo. Took about a week of use before it proper familiar and got much more grippy.
Also I'm not kidding when I say it hardly shows finger marks on the back and rarely needs a wipe down.

I’m going to take it my local Apple Store this week and see what they say. Hoping they’ll swap it out…and this one is a fluke.
For those interested. Apple Store swapped out case. However ring appeared on second aquamarine case so swapped out to periwinkle now and no ring. Gutted. Apple Store did say that light silicone can mark! Never had it before but too OCD to live with it so periwinkle it is (which is lovely).

Since it seems no one has tried it, I picked up the Ringke Alles out of curiosity. It’s a beast of course (60+ grams), and it’s not going to be my everyday carry, but it’s a really nice case for what it is. It’s like a nicer Otterbox Defender at half the price. The fit, buttons, cutouts, and camera protection are very good. The camera control button is among the best. One of the better beefy cases this year, easily beats the Spigen Tough Armor and Otterbox Defender. I’ll use it for camping trips, yard work, mountain bike rides, etc.

I tried it and was unimpressed with the button and how it felt in hand. The button on mine was intermittent. Also one of the side fins connecting to the TPU kept popping up.

......and it's going back.

Doesn't feel good to hold and the button on mine isn't great. Right swipes not registering every time and the button feels like plastic instead of glass so isn't smooth to swipe anyway.

I just saw your post and I'm also very interested in this case. It might actually come in handy for a travel case. Is the camera control button as good as Apple's implementation in their cases? I also love to take photos and I really wish there is a way to screw 67mm filters on like some of the photo-centric cases from Moment but they have cutouts instead.

On my copy of the case the CC button is on par with the Apple, Phone Rebel, and Spigen. That said, @Pug72 didn’t have good luck with his, so inconsistency in quality control might be an issue. I’d suggest purchasing it through Amazon if you can in case it needs to be returned.
