I’m sure you will and a lot of people here who are saying they aren’t will too. You said the same about Phone Rebel 😉
I’m pretty much full time in my new, tight fitting Arc unless I’m on an outdoorsy weekend excursion, which is covered by the Phone Rebel. Not sure where a Caudabe would fit in with their dismal protection-to-weight ratio. I’m also annoyed with their customer service reps who have been shining us on for months with the “stay tuned” comments. No thanks.

A black/gray Paragon could be interesting. I can’t remember, is it lighter than the Sheath?
I believe it is. When I had a paragon, it didn’t feel as weighty but that could be because of the contours of the case.

An all grey or all dark blue paragon would be perfect

Much as I've been saying I really wanted a Sheath with camera button - I think the PRG6U is my last case. I got used to the lens ring/kickstand on my ESR case, and I'm now getting the same for the PR. I think a Sheath with camera button, but no kickstand, is just not what I want.

I think Caudabe are releasing new cases on Friday.

Currently they are doing 24 hour flash sale, maybe a last push to get rid of their old stock.
Please send me a letter when the new "Ultra Sheath" is up for sale ;) or Paragon / Synthesis

I'm not seeing the flash sale over here

This thread makes me feel somewhat better. I went through 5 cases for my iPad Pro M4 13" before I found one I liked, the Zugu. The others were not cheap, and they rest on a shelf looking down at me with small illusionary lips mouthing SUCKER! every time I look that way.

Now, if you want the best, most bulletproof case, you can have your iPhone encased in a waterproof, dust-proof, hazardous chemical-proof, radiation-resistant hand vault. It is filled with nitrogen to keep all of the evil out. you send them your iPhone to get it encased. I have an Engineering friend who has an iPhone encased with this ARTEX case supplied by GE. He sends it back once each year to get the nitrogen refilled.

Are these buttons better?
Might settle for this instead of waiting for the Tough Ultra
These are the flat buttons that come on the Gen 6 ultra. IMO, the flat buttons are way better than the others. I'm also thinking the Rebel logo button will be thinner and finally fit the ultra without sticking up. I'm not crazy about the kickstand but will give it a try.

I sent back the Phone Rebel and I’m back in the Gripmunk. This is 3 phones in a row I’ve been in a Smartish case after trying several other promising cases. I should probably just get a Gripmunk and call it good from now on, I don’t think it gets much better than this for me.

It is funny I usually have the Otterbox case in hand, waiting for the iPhone to arrive. This time, it is the opposite. Otterbox is located in Fort Collins, about 44 miles south of me so it should be here today or tomorrow. The way it has worked in past years is that the iPhone comes out of its box and directly into the Otterbox case.

The Defender case discourages changing it out because of the way it snaps around your iPhone; it does not just slip off.
