It’s ironic that their least expensive model (matte black aluminum) is the lightest and also apparently the most durable.
Compared to polished aluminium ones yes, but Titanium is still more durable.
I have here Matte Black from my old 14 Pro Max and it's nicely polished at the corners 😄

Assuming they actually deliver, at this late date they’re not likely to sell a lot of updated CC-enabled iPhone cases either.
What percentage of iPhone users actually upgrade every year though? Not I, for one. I feel like you guys are in the (something like less than 10%) minority.

Of course many people also buy a case early on and stay in it, so they did potentially lose that initial rush of orders as well.

Somewhere around 14-15% replace their phones every year. That’s among all cell phone users. There doesn’t seem to be published figures specifically for iPhone users, which I would guess may be slightly higher. But yeah, it’s a small minority in any case.

I’m skeptical as well, though they still have a couple of weeks to prove us wrong. Not that it matters, I won’t be buying any of their cases at this late date. I’m at the point of figuring out how to get rid of the stack of unused cases I already have.
I’ll be waiting for your nice shots of the Caudabe cases when they get released 😉

The cases for the 16 Pro/Pro Max series have been terrible. Probably the worst year for cases.
There are not that many outstanding cases and I still have not found a great case to use for my new 16 Pro Max. I tried the Spigen but found it quiet cheap feeling and the Apple Silicone is just a lint magnet! I don't think I will ever find a decent case for my 16 Pro Max sadly.

Definitely seems like all of them have some sort of a big trade off to me. Maybe it’s just that all my go to cases were a letdown this year.

Just wait for the 17 Pro/Pro Max cases, CC button and a HUGE forehead on the back o_O

I’m actually more into fashionable and flashy cute cases so I buy mine from shein

Surprisingly with my drunken shenanigans, they hold up very well from me dropping them 🤣😂 to be only less than $10 from china.

Love SHEIN cases. Two I just bought recently IMG_1377.pngIMG_1378.png

My Spigen Ultra Hybrid T bought in October is now super yellow.
I had the clear Ultra Hybrid on my 15PM and it didn’t take long for the bumper to start to discolour. Looked like nicotine stains below the buttons on either side (I don’t smoke). I went for the black UHT this time and so far it looks and feels as good as the day I got it.
