A new version of the Bare Armour case with a camera control button is being released next month

Because it is a thin minimalist case. Design wise if it added buttons it wouldn’t stay that slim which defeats the purpose. That’s why there’s the ArmorPro vs the ArmorAir for example.

I honestly think the dirt and debris ordeal that I hear so many people talk about with cases is over exaggerated in my opinion. I’m not concerned about that. I’ve taken my phone out a couple times out of the case already and it was just fine whether there’s a few pieces of dust in it or not.

The camera bump is just fine for me and doesn’t seem to be any less than most cases I’ve tried. I put my phone down on its back with 0 issues. Not sure how much higher you’d want it to be.

If you’re looking for scratch protection and appreciate the minimal design to complement the iPhone and keep it feeling like it’s meant to be, it’s the case for you. If not there’s plenty of higher protection bulkier cases out there so that your phone is totally protected. It just boils down to preference and what you’re comfortable with.
I have the montage armor pro and the buttons just don't make sense to me. They were aluminum on last years model and now they're partial cut outs. Like what's the point of even having it? To clarify; the reflective material is the phone showing through the button.

They saved the metal buttons for the more expensive Aurora.

I asked them why they did this and they claimed it was because a lot of people complained about the metal buttons rattling. Cost cutting more like. Spoiled my favourite case.

Bare is the absolute worst case company on planet earth. I've dealt with them in the past and never again. They are just selling cheap Aliexpress cases rebranded with their name on them. Avoid at all costs.

Looks great and it working great as well. I know it’s going to be a hit or miss with the camera area but honestly I don’t mind it. The fit is also very good this year. It’s just good to see some other brands bring the button and a good working button at that.
You think we'll be getting a version w/o the mount? Just curious.

I wish this is what I meant. I've heard theres not even the slightest screen protection with the military grade pro models. Which bums me out because I really want the sunset.
They’re supposed to be making some adjustments to the design to increase the amount of lip above the screen. Haven’t heard when the revised version is going to be released though.

Has anyone found a MagSafe wallet that works with the Apple (16 & 16 pro) MagSafe Clear case? I tried the Fine Woven but, it falls off the Apple clear case rather easily, which doesn’t happen with the Apple Silcone case.

Totally agree with you. Their shipping speed is horrendous - no response for more than 10 days. They are unresponsive to the extent of almost being a dishonest company. Their customer service support is non-existent. They don't respond to any messages/emails. They don't honour the 14 days return policy by totally not responding to your email. If you were to PM or post any messages on their social media accounts (i.e Instagram, Facebook), your messages get removed almost immediately.

And yes, while their cases look good, you can easily do image search on Aliexpress/Taobao to find 90% similar cases at quarter of the price. Heck, I think even Benks/ESR have the same type of cases.

Don't get scammed please! :confused::confused:

They’re pure social media marketing selling Chinese drop ship nonsense.

ohh where did they address this? They mentioned first week of Nov but I didn't see any mention of camera control cover.

This is so true.

Whilst most do the same; Ryan London, Andar etc at least their cases are actually decent
FWIW, this is what I believe to be Andar

I just found this on AliExpress: £19.99 | Cow Leather for iPhone 16 Pro Max Case Leather Real Skin Business Case for iPhone 16 Pro Magnetic Charging Back Cover

Has anyone got the Prodigee Formula case? If yes, how do you rate the case?
I've got the Grey Prodigee Formula case for the 16 Pro. So far so good it seems a good case. Smooth back, grippier sides but not sticky so it doesn't get stuck when it goes in your pocket. Seems well made - the only bit which might be vulnerable is the thin bit between the camera button and the screen. Camera button is easily accessible and I'm not bothered that it is exposed. Colour of Formula goes well with my Titanium Watch Ultra and Nomad Ultra Orange strap.

With the phone out, place your thumb & finger on either side of button and push in and out with a bit of force repeatedly. Will loosen them up for you.
An old trick I use on leather cases that had stiffer buttons.
Thanks. That’s worked a treat!
