This is why I got the gray Sheath, black ones always seem to get a white haze along the back edges. So far, the gray is doing just fine. The hole is annoying but what ya going to do.
A friend of mine is still using an ancient Sheath from 4-5 years ago. The whole thing is practically shiny, with most of the texture worn off. It actually looks pretty cool, with its own kind of patina.

One more paper thin Pitaka, this one’s the black/gray Ultra-Slim. Unlike the Tactile Woven cases, which are made from 1500D aramid fiber, this one is 600D. It’s smoother, and even thinner and lighter at 20 grams. Without a screen protector the corners raise just the slightest amount above the screen, with a protector there’s no lip. It’s all fun and games until I drop it… LOL.

Same exact one I had but chose the Benks instead. The classic black aramid fiber is the cleanest look IMO especially with black iPhone. I have yet to try the colored ones though.

I really tried to tough it out with the black silicon, but the amount of lint and oil that thing accumulates was bothering me.

Now I'm using a black Sheath, and while I wish it had a camera control button, it's still imo a great case.
I'll say this again, if the Black Sheath had a CC button, it would be the best case EVER for an iPhone, no question.

I really like these type of cases but not enough to have more risk of damaging my phone.

Can anybody recommend a case that is out right nw for the 16 Pro Max that does not add bulk but offers decent protection and most importantly feels good in the hands/is not slippery/does hurt your pinky finger..
