Getting the Ringke Rugged Black case coming in too. I just ordered a Paragon so I emailed them asking if they plan to come out with one with a camera control button.

Here’s the Mous Clarity 3.0 after running it with my iPhone 16 Pro Max for a week. Geez. These cases are trash.

How's that camo black Onyx?
So, there are some things to like about the Onyx, and some deal breakers as well.

What I like:
  • The texture is nice, Caudabe-ish but not as grippy
  • Resistant to fingerprints
  • Looks clean and simple
  • The integrated camera protector is kinda’ cool
What I don’t like:
  • The TPU is too flexible
  • The fit is loose, the sides pull away easily
  • Slit buttons
  • Lanyard slots
  • A subtle MagSafe bump, ala Sheath and Air 1 is visible out of the box
Deal breaker:
  • The lip above the camera control is super flimsy, like a rubber band. It won’t last long if you use the camera control much.
This seems like a case that has a lot of potential but ends up being a disappointment (to me) due to some design and material choices. It’ll be going back to Amazon. No offense to those who like it - enjoy your case!

Get the Air2. It’s perfect if you want a fairly slim case.

Really? I'm just using a temporary non-leather one, then will just buy a new leather one (probably Ryan London) when they release updated ones with the CC button (I don't like wasting money on endless cases, personally).

Has anybody given the Meifigno a spin? I know its a super basic cookie cutter case style that MANY have...but until some of our favs get updated with camera buttons, seem like a decent option if you despise silicone. Been using Silicone since day 1 and I've just about had it with it. Ugh.

I ended up with 15 cases last year, though there were a few duplicates. Returned about that many. I’m buying/keeping fewer this year, most likely around 6, with multiple colors of a couple, so really about 4 models. There are some people here and elsewhere who buy many more than I do.

Fair enough – I'm quite conservative with my funds for such things, so two is about one too many for me, lol!
But then I do get the new iPhone every year since the 3G, too.

I realize 15 phone cases sounds insane to most people. It’s a small indulgence since I don’t spend money on things like boats and sports cars. 😊
