True it is cheaper but you can’t compare the fit and finish of the Phone Rebel vs Ringke. And I really like the Ringke Rugged.
Tee, great Gen6 review on YT! What’s up with the Gen6 failing your MagSafe test? Are the magnets really that weak, or was it the camera protection ring getting in the way?

My first case for my 16 Pro is the Nomad Modern Leather. It’s very nice, but to be honest I really dislike the ribbed edges around the camera button. That makes it difficult to use that button. I have ordered a Nomad Traditional Leather case that has a cutout around the camera button. I should get it next week.

I also ordered a Spigen Tough Armor T AI case and just received it. Very nice case and the edges have a soft feel and that makes it easy to grip the phone. The button that covers the camera button works like a champ! It even makes it easier to activate the shutter. Spigen did us a solid with this case.

I will post more after I receive the Nomad Traditional Leather case next week.
Yeah, the Tough Armor T is very good, and a steal at $21 on eBay.

Phone Rebel Gen 6 Rebel case in today. Definitely not slippery like the frosty but not as grippy as last years rebel case. Everything about this case screams high quality and IMO the best rebel case made to date. Out of the box with the stock hardware it weights 54 grams, 55 grams with the large honking orange camera ring. One thing I noticed is the interior part where the camera ring screws into is a separate removable piece now and not actually molded into the case anymore. The Magsafe is strong, that large camera ring is what threw off Tee's Magsafe test with his base.
This case would be perfect with a camera control button, let's pray he is still producing them.
I like this one but the honeymoon is just getting started.

I think they have scrapped the idea of a CC button. It’s gone way too quiet and all evidence from the site is missing as well.

Thanks for the report. Looks good. I noticed in your photos that there appears to be small gaps where the aramid plate and the TPU meet. I was surprised to see this since the case is now co-molded. I’m curious, can you feel the gap with your fingernail or is it just visual? This gap was my big complaint with the Gen 5 because it collected so much junk; wondering if that’s going to be an issue with this new case. Wasn’t excited to see the obvious mold lines on the corner either, which was so clean last year. I know I’m picking nits, but claims of perfection gets one looking close.

That would be a shame. It appears this could be the #1 HD case this year, but at least for me it’s not even in the race without a CC button.

Yea, you can definitely feel a ridge in those areas. In person it's not that noticeable but surely a manufacturing defect. Another cheap feeling thing is the plastic frame that now holds the camera protector in place. Wonder if others are seeing this raised edge along the fiber seams on the back of their gen 6 cases?

Was wondering why the rebel felt so much nicer in the hand and it turns out it is narrower than the frosty! Looks like they got the bezel a little slimmer. That or I’m just blind lol

Where did you get that wallpaper in the next to last picture?

I'm leaning towards the Torras thin fit case. I just love the way a thin phone case feels in the hand. The Benks Montage ArmorPro is just a bit too thick for me.

I'm open to normal sized cases that have a thin side as well. How do the Rebel and Paragon cases feel? Would I dislike them?

Look at the phone rebel air2. Super thin but really good side grips.
