What ultra thin cases would you recommend? Anything other than the pitaka/benks?
I haven’t had much experience with these types of aramid fiber cases, but I’ll share a few thoughts.
I checked out a friend’s Latercase but never owned one. It looked nice, but the lack of MagSafe was a deal breaker for me. Thinborne is heavily promoted on social media, but I can’t help but feel like they’re rebranded AliExpress cases (they deny it). Then there are the no-name knock-offs on Amazon and AliExpress that I would advise against. I tried a couple of them, and they were pretty bad.
I believe that leaves Pitaka and Benks. Pitaka was the original, while Benks is a bit of a copycat, which is perfectly acceptable in my opinion. Benks are a better value, but I believe Pitaka has better quality control and a better finish (although others may disagree). Plus, I like their colors better (it’s totally subjective).
That’s my two cents. 😊
