Does your button feel like it's covered in silicone on the inside?

First of all, thank you for completely triggering a full OCD phone and case clean down. It set me back 30 minutes of cleaning and ensuring perfection, lol. Unfortunately, I do have actual OCD, but I make the best of it, hah.

Anyway, when doing said full clean down, I inspected the case even more (LED flashlight mode) to find signs of a residue or sticky substance. Nada. On the inside of my CC button, it feels like it is surrounded by a rubber flap. If I used compressed air on that button, I can see the rubber flap move a tad. I've included a photo below. It's actually one of the cleanest buttons besides Apple Sil that I've tried.

The CC button outside is just shiny. It's not matte, so it does attract a small amount of fingerprints...but I'm not really caring about that.

I'm really frustrated for you because this case (mine anyway) is actually pretty damn solid.

(When using the flashlight, I was able to notice a very slight indent on the back from the magsafe ring. But yeah, flashlight..haha)

Had the Moft invisible case delivered today after yearning for that naked feel and to actually enjoy looking at the screen with the slim bezels (cases always tend to ruin this). Did initially order a Suti Phoneback but cancelled virtually straight away; couldn’t drop £60 on one of those.

Impressed so far! Looks great, is super thin in hand but also offers a decent grip being a clear case. Gonna run it for a few day and see if it’s a keeper.

does it provide any lay on table screen protection?

the dbrand ghost 2.0 is flush with my screen protector. dbrand says that’s because i have a skin on the back of my phone. without the skin they claim it has a slight lip. anyone with a ghost 2.0, can you confirm this? i like the case but can’t see using a case that i can’t just place down anywhere on either side.

Yea, your inside looks way smoother than mine. Maybe I should try to clean the inside of mine off. You think an alcohol swab would damage the inside of the button? Here's another pic of mine and you can see the gunk on the inside of the button.

I’ve been buying iPhone cases from this company for years. You can pick the type, color and texture of leather from available options. They look fantastic and feel premium, but they’re definitely not for the faint of heart. 💸

If you have a screen protector, that will lay on the table.

If you were to not have a screen protector then it would, by the looks of it have some face down protection.

If it’s not the screen that’s touching a table, it doesn’t bother me too much as if my protector marks up that bad, I’ll just change it

Took the case off, cleaned the inside with an alcohol swab and it's no better. My case just has a nasty, uneven glue job on the inside :(
This Benks button is a copper rod special with a clear rubber silicone coating over the inside. I can even see some of the copper exposed on my button. I give up...

Yup. That looks nasteh.
And that's after I cleaned it up. All they are doing is squeezing some rubber silicone over the copper to protect the phone's button and IMO, it's a complete fail. Look around the edges and you can see all the dried glue where they just glued the button into the case. The case it's self is high quality, the CC button is a complete jerry rig.

My Benks CC button is working great. I'd say at or around the Hybrid T level. But yeah, mine didn't have all that weird goo on it like @Hooterville 's case. Gotta be a weird QC issue. The question is...who got lucky, he or I? Which is the more common case? Hopefully not a goo CC button version.

Be sure to send them my photo as well for comparison @Hooterville

Saw that, maybe I'm just too old and stupid to work the Benks button o_O

Did they mention sticky silicone glue all over the inside & outside of the button? Maybe I got the "Special Edition" ?

Mike doesn’t look like that at all on the CC. I think you got a defect. Mine also works nearly as well as my apple cases.

The only thing I wish is that the buttons had less rattle to them. I added some thin tape on the inside to stop it.
