I wouldn't recommend the Apple clear case which I'm returning. The bottom corners flex and wiggle with minimal force.

The ESR clear case with Stand is much better imo. The bottom is covered and the plastic feels grippier. The stand is very functional and looks nice. The flaw is that you really have to dig your finger in the camera control groove, but it at the end of the day it works fine. Also, the camera lens protector does not fit with the ESR (because that's where the stand is) but fits with the Apple case.

Once I get my Apple silicone cases I'll decide which to keep but the ESR is a good solution for the price.

Edit: Clarifying ESR stand blocks any camera lens protection covers
Weird on the Apple Clear. I have one on currently and have hardly any flex at all in the bottom corners.

Absolutely in love with this combo! My 16 Pro Max in Desert Titanium with an Apple silicone case in Ultramarine. I must say I’ve always hated silicone cases but these seem much better than the ones I remember a few years ago. A little slimmer too!

What is the best case in terms of offering solid protection and the case having good grip/nice feel in the hands for the 16 Pro? I am buying the Pro for my sis's birthday but cannot seem to find a good case at the moment...
Here we go again…… 😂😂

Cases very rarely drastically change. You said you couldn’t find a case for the 15 series despite being recommended just about every option under the sun.

Likelihood is, it’ll be the same again.

Black Titanium in the Ultramarine and Black apple silicone cases. The black case definitely looks more black in person, its just hard to pick up on the camera.

I have never bought a black iphone. I have always found them to be boring. This might be the year though because this thing is gorgeous in person.

Will be making a final decision between this or the white in the next couple weeks.

The case is not for me though....

May I ask does the material around the camera control make it uncomfortable to hold? As I’m strongly considering getting one for my 16 Pro Max.

Because it’s TPU around the ring the whole thing feels so smooth. I might actually prefer the cutout for the camera control than even the naked iPhone so I can easily feel where it is all the time. If any of your local stores are stocking them I highly recommend you try one out. For me this is the perfect case.

Did anyone receive their Ryan London case for series 16 yet? Mine is in the second batch, due end of Sept. I'd love to see pics.

Honestly what’s the big deal with having the camera control area exposed? Even if you drop your phone it won’t land exactly on that one spot. You are dropping it into a sea of knives

I don’t know. A lot of people really seem upset by that design decision. In most cases I don’t mind it, though there are some where it looks awful.

yeah, I bought one of these Supcase with the tiny rods and now that I have it in person, I think it may scratch the button down the line (though I like the flip stand a lot). So have switched to a Ringke Rugged for the time being.

The odd thing about this new "Rugged" case though is the screen lip is actually a hair shorter than their Fusion series. Have to ask them about that.

It really shouldn’t scratch the camera button, as it’s sapphire/ glass (apple’s sapphire). Which while less hard than pure sapphire is still significantly harder than copper, and so shouldn’t be scratched by copper. If they were touching the titanium edge it might scratch the coating but should be fine on the button.

The biggest issue with this design is simply that it is less responsive than Apple’s CC button design.

Hi My wife just upgraded from 14 pro with apple clear case to 16 pro, she was going for same case but went for the Otterbox Lumen series in Pink & loving it much better grip. Apple silicone Fuchsia she was thinking of as well. John Lewis has Apple cases for £39. Good Luck
