As someone whose devices are seldom higher than 50% display brightness when I'm indoors, I've never understood why every new devices boasts about more nits of max brightness as an improvement.
i think its overdue and its coming...at least for the iphone proMaybe they should consider more copper for better heat dissipation like the new iPad Pro?
battery is rumored to be 2.5% bigger aka margin of error pretty muchThat will be perfect for the newly expanded battery size. I expect a Net 0 Gain in time before needing to charge.
N3E is much better than N3B tho. Just see M4 vs M3.battery is rumored to be 2.5% bigger aka margin of error pretty much
The brightness on the 14 Pro and 15 Pro is very good, more than most people need actually. I’m more interested if the 16 Pro will get stacked battery tech than a 20 percent increase in brightness that I’ll never utilize.Brighter is always better.
In terms of power efficiency you say? I haven't seen the graphs for pwr consumption on the new chip, are they any good ?N3E is much better than N3B tho. Just see M4 vs M3.
Oooh, liquid cool it. …better yet just have a stint installed in your forearm artery flowing into the coolant system, to offload that hardware and keep the device as thin as possible. Plus, that way any remaining overheating issues are the users fault.Maybe they should consider more copper for better heat dissipation like the new iPad Pro? 🤔
You have to remember…you aren’t the only one in the world. There are others on this planet that use this phone too…As someone whose devices are seldom higher than 50% display brightness when I'm indoors, I've never understood why every new devices boasts about more nits of max brightness as an improvement.
Because it's important under sunlight, I feel like even my series 9 watch could use higher brightness than 2000nits under sun.As someone whose devices are seldom higher than 50% display brightness when I'm indoors, I've never understood why every new devices boasts about more nits of max brightness as an improvement.
Never even had my 15PM on full brightness
Is that not the peak brightness of 2000 nits that is advertised? So this new peak of 1200 for SDR is for standard lighting conditions.Unless you never go outside when it's sunny with your phone, of course you have.
