You can’t put an iPad in your pocket though. And that’s where most iPhone 6 phones bent. And lots of them were in people’s front pockets.
In a back pocket I can understand if you sit on it. In a front pocket I really don’t. I had an iPhone 6, and while I had a lot to criticize about it, the thinness wasn’t a problem.

Maybe just run out of ideas when it comes to the phone.

Yes the camera gets an update every year, but that’s a given.

I suppose the notch was a talking point and an innovation. But personally I think the excitement has gone from when you had the 4 to the 10.

I’m happy at the moment with a 13 pro max….and haven’t at all been tempted to upgrade.

That's the thing though, iPhone 6 did bend in the front pocket. I guess when people sat, their jeans or whatever put pressure on it.

This proofs that the camera bump is better... holyshit that is a fat phone.
It’s not even that … camera setup on that phone is awful…
Funny how opinions differ. I think this phone looks amazing
Aesthetic is subjective by nature, but when you look at specs and reviews and see all the limitations on that phone you shouldn’t use it as a model for future iPhone

How about heat sinks? Such a thin body wont allow much space for heat dissipation, right?

Also such design looks to be foldable either way. Either willingly or unwillingly.

I am wondering if all these 'thinness' leaks and or predictions are due to perhaps the iPhone 17 being the first foldable iPhone which would require super thin foldable 'sides' or panels if you will. Wishful thinking, I know...

Is it just me, or is a 2mm thickness reduction not impressive? I would prefer if they focused on improving iOS to enhance the user experience. Steve Jobs used to emphasize the importance of "KISS" (Keep It Simple, Stupid), and right now, iOS feels disorganized, lacking cohesiveness and intuitive ease of use.

The "Camera Button" addition shows we are going the wrong way.

That's right, folks, this will the the THINNEST iPhone ever. This is the future, today! The era of thin iPhones is here!

Nope. I don't use a case
I never did until i ipgraded from a 6 to an 8. The 8 had the new larger form which made one-hand holding and typing no longer possible bbwith nowncase, it slipped from my hand.

Ive never seen anyone use an iphone without a case. If you do, then ypu are able to enjoy the new thinner form facrtor.

Does anyone really care about thinness anymore?
I’ve been using an iPhone since the OG in 2007. My 15 Pro is a chonky boy. The combo of the squared off design and the absurdly bulbous camera array does not make for a sleek device.

I’m down for a return to the svelteness of the 6 series

My wife and son are all over this concept, they love it. It will result in them immediately upgrading their current iPhones. I need to record spatial video so I won't be getting one. Otherwise, I would love thin and light. it will be a powerful phone running an A19 chip and featuring ProMotion.

Yep, I thought that was you in line with me.

Even my iPhone 13 mini is chonky (good word) and I'd prefer it lighter with rounded edges.

This. I've said it before, but an iPhone 6 type body with full-screen display would be the ideal for many of us. Heck, I'd be fine with the same camera from the 6, the aluminum back (I never charge wirelessly), just to have the light weight and thin phone again.
