Returning mine too, it feels horrible in the hand compared to the Ultra Hybrid Zero One..you'd think they'd be the same wouldn't you.
I ended up returning the Stone colour one and went with Navy Blue, one day with jeans on and the blue was rubbing against the case luckily was able to get the mark off. Amazon UK had a sale on as the stone case was £64.99 got the blue one for £51.99 but overall good case apart from the issue with the lighter colour.

I really like this Eucalyptus colour:) I still think between black paragon and sheath !
Which one you like?
I prefer the Sheath. I really want the Paragon to be my daily though. This is the reason why it’s not; the back is slippery BUT the side grips help to compensate.

This doesn’t solve the problem of grip in my experience with the Paragon.

The Paragon has to compensate for being slippery. The Sheath is grippy-er by design.

Thanks for your opinion.

My Gray Sheath didn’t so this time Ive asked them to ship Celestial Blue from Ohio instead of UK or China.

I think they’re blending stock. So you may get a new batch with QC improvement or you may get an older stock item. Both my replacement sheaths for QC issues were ones without the install card instructions.

Just for kicks, you should try one of the 1500D ultra thin Pitaka cases sometime. They’re very close to holding a raw phone, but provide a nice amount of grip and a little bump and scratch protection. You might be surprised.
Thanks for the suggestion but I don’t mike Aramid. Plus I like rocking something that has more than a little bump and scratch protection.

I don’t like Aramid.
That’s like saying “I don’t like TPU”. There are many flavors of aramid, it’s just a raw material. The ultra thin 1500D Pitaka cases have good grip and are reasonably fingerprint resistant. They have little in common with the aramid stickers on the back of Phone Rebel and Mous cases.

Needing more than minimal protection is understandable. The form factor though, which you said is your #1 priority, is almost impossible to beat on these ultra thin cases.

Fingerprint resistant? I had a Pitaka Milkyway and it looked terrible even in that color. I've been wondering for a while whether to order the Moonrise to try it out because I really like how good a lightweight case like the Pitaka feels.

The lighter, more textured colors show less fingerprints than the darker colors, just like with other cases. The new Lucid Blue is the best I’ve tried, followed by the Moonrise, which still requires the occasional wipe down but is better than the Apple Silicone, for example. The Milky Way I had last year was worse, the 600D black/gray is the absolute worst and more like the backs of the Phone Rebel, Mous, et al.

Ok, so I'm headed towards Moonrise correctly. :)

Recently got a 17 Pro from work, coming from a 15 PM. Rocked an open-bottom Bullstrap on that one, but didn't love the options they have for the 17 line. Ended up with a blue TechWoven and am surprisingly happy with it. Reasonably grippy but doesn't inhibit pocketability, and the texture is pleasing to the touch. Wish it had an open bottom but leaning towards staying with it for now (and no squeaks or loose corners; bummer to whoever was running into those).

Just a small update.
Received the Sheath replacement and it’s like a twin brother(sister?) of the previous case in terms of cutout’s misalignment. May be even worse. It’s a fabulous case otherwise, just not “precise” as my OCD nature wants it to be.
How many mm is it misaligned?

TechWoven is without a doubt the true GOAT this year.
