Anyone who ordered the Caudabe Paragon for the max receive shipping notification yet? When I preordered it said shipping in late September. Today is as late as it gets!
Nope. Ordered mine on the 10th. Stilll not shipped and Still says late September. Can’t get much later than today! They got my money 3 weeks ago. They should at least wait ri charge your card when it ships.

I’m still waiting on my blue Caudabe Sheath to ship. Ordered it on September 10 and I hope to get a shipping notification soon. It’s definitely the very end of their promised shipping window.

Does the silver finish scratch easily on the Arc?
No, not from regular daily handling and usage. Apparently, it has an anti-scratch coating. Now, you may get some hairlines in the long run. And if you drop it, some major nicks.

Finally got my Pitaka ultra-slim moonrise for iPhone 17. This is the best case I've ever owned for any phone. The feel/texture is amazing, design is beautiful, love feeling the actual buttons, so much thinner than the Apple silicone case. Really impressed!

Amazing. Any sharp edges when holding?
Not for me. I'm glad the cc button is covered, though, because my thumb usually rests there and I would probably get annoyed with a cutout. And there's enough of an opening at the button that I only catch the edge of the phone when swiping up. The outer lip isn't sharp, but it isn't super smooth.

Beautiful. I had one of these on order for my Air, but the order was cancelled due to being unavailable. Did you order yours direct?

That looks great with the 17!

It’s such an awesome case, nothing dethrones it for me.

I’m loving mine with my Deep Blue 17 PM. Same Moonrise design.

I did order the Milky Way which arrives this weekend, looking forward to seeing that one as well.

I had some time today to catch up on case reviews on YouTube. I’ll probably take some heat for this, but here’s my two cents. Every year I see the same pattern in YouTube case reviews: certain “reviewers” (really influencers) tear into Apple’s cases, then gush over products from the same handful of brands that supply them with free samples or partnerships. They swear the reviews are unbiased—maybe they even believe it—but the pattern says otherwise. Maybe Apple’s cases truly are awful, but in my experience they’re about average: no better and no worse than most third-party options. Just something to keep in mind when watching supposedly “unbiased” reviews…

I got flack here about 2 years ago for calling out one of them that frequented the forums. I noticed his profile is now private, so I’m guessing he had others doing the same?

Anyways, I take the people’s posts here more serious than any actual reviewer/s. I’m now back on the boat of spending money on new cases as case number 3 is on its way. I swore it would be 1 and done, but nope. Every single case has some type of flaw and the ones I really want are delayed.

It's all their opinion. I've been buying cases since body glove for the moto razr and seen many case reviews. I agree with most reviewers and criticism of the cases they feature that I have handled. Other than the fine woven fiasco and the silicone cases being lint magnets I recall apple cases being reviewed positively. But I've never been a fan of apple cases so maybe i missed some things.
