Well yea mine started in a week. I got a replacement but not too confident.

i honestly think your worrying about it to much the glass on the air is more durable then in years past i don't see this as an issue. pitaka slim is one of the best cases for the air imo

The back is hard plastic and very slippery. The Apple Silicone and Sheath have inherent grip all around. While the Paragon has decent side grip, the back plate has none. In my opinion, it looks nicer than it handles.

It’s a nice case, but metal making direct contact with glass is a terrible design choice, there’s no getting around it. If it isn’t a problem, Pitaka should just admit that it was a design choice instead of gaslighting the customer.

I don’t know about gaslighting the customer but I certainly wouldn’t worry about the metallic camera surround touching the glass. It’s not tungsten carbide; the metal is going to deform before it damages the glass. It might actually do a better job of protecting the phone from damage if it’s aluminum.

I love my ultraguard. I’m glad I went with the sunset colorway, but that black is calling me. 👀

After being super disappointed with the Andar case, I might just get a 2nd Pitaka ultraguard in another color.
