I always switch between the two and I can say: the Tech Woven is definitely not as heavy as the Paragon! But thinner? Not really. But let's see what macher says about it. :)
Since I don’t have the Tech Woven but have the Apple Silcone I’m going to guess that the Tech Woven and Apple Silicone are same dimensions.

Here are the spec between the Pro Apple Silcone and Pro Paragon.

Apple silicone
154.4 x 76.5 x 12.1

Paragon
153.5 x 75.3 x 13.0(top/bottom lip) x 11.8(middle lip)

I believe it. Last seasons version of this video was what convinced me to buy the AirX for my 17Pro. Also saw a Tik Tok of someone throwing his 17 PM around in the AirX without damage.
I wish they tested more than just the Defender when it comes to „rugged“ cases though.
Is the AirX for 17PM on Amazon?

Found it, $62. and a month or so out 😩

Dropped my 17 pro max today from pocket height onto tiles, missed my pocket. First proper drop, in the Apple silicon case, and it’s dented the top corner away from the screen forming a small gap. Really annoying this year that they are so fragile, I usually just go caseless. I have apple care so have decided to go case and screen protector free and see how it holds up now the terrible “first mark” feeling is over. If it takes proper damage at some point il swap it out.

The silicone corner popped off upon impact? My 12 and 14 Pros both dropped in the Silicone case and got dinged on the corners where it popped off. Never used an Apple case again because of this despite how nice the Techwoven looks.

Did the case pop off? The Apple Silicone doesn’t have that tight of a fit.

No didn’t pop off, it was through the case which is mad to me. I’ve been caseless each year since the 13 pro and I’ve dropped my phone in that same area many times over the years, and never even had much of a scuff. I’m not clumsy but inevitably do a drop like that a couple of times a year. Il report back how the case and screen protector free does over the next while anyway, suspect it will end in tears 😂

I’d resigned myself to a case reluctantly this year but if it can still get damaged in one, might as well enjoy the form factor for a while

Impulse buy at the Apple Store... Dark Cherry PopSockets "Kick Out". Never had one of these grips before, may finally get me to use my Andar Aspen Tech Purp case on occasion.

*sorry for the shady pic.. was in a rush

A lovely case. It looks like it really slims down the Pro. Besides being so thin, one of my favorite things about it is the perfect amount of grip—not sticky, not rough or sharp, but super comfortable and just tactile enough.

Sorry to be pedantic, but that’s the Moonrise you have there… 😊
Uff…Pitaka…nice looking case,only 18 grams but it’s very very sharp 😞
I'll probably return it and stay with the three caudabe cases - Frost Synthesis, Eucalyptus Sheath and Black Paragon…
