This is a super long thread, but is there a consensus on top-quality, thin, and rugged cases with camera control for the base 17 and 17 Pro Max?

I use the green TW the most just for this combo, yes the case is great but that combo is elite.

The final post on last year’s iPhone 16 case thread was on January 29. We made it two weeks further this year, but it feels like we’re done.

Unless Apple comes out with a Titanium Pro this fall, I guess I’m done until 2027 when they update the Air (zero interest in the Fold). In the meantime I just counted, and not including the two Amazon returns I need to drop off, I have 15 cases, 16 including the Sheath that’s on order. That should get me through… lol.

I think iPhone designed peaked with the iPhone 5/5S.
It felt good to hold in hand, didn't rock like a hobby horse when placed screen up on a table, and the black 5 at least, was more black than dark grey.
I had a Carved wood case for it, which didn't add much bulk, but also carried it naked a lot of the time.
Oh, and it had a sleep switch located in a place where an unintentional screen shot wasn't a risk when simply trying to adjust the volume.

I didn’t realize you had 15 cases for the Air - I thought it was closer to 7 or 8.
I’m in agreement with the move back to titanium.

Well I’m not done either it seems, even though I’m way past „enough“ cases here 😂 (I haven’t counted yet, but going over them in my head it should be around 16 cases I kept and not returned 🫠).
Anyway, I took advantage of the V Day discount from Flolab and ordered another version of the Surtect in stealth black clear, because I really like the case but hate the fact that the white version is no longer white after just a few days with it.

I still pop in here to see what's up but not posting much as no new cases so not much to offer and I think my views aren't well regarded anyway.
Think I've got a good varied selection that are different enough to satisfy the need for a change after using a case for a while.
In the Supcase UB Grip Aramid at the mo, love the look of this case.
My main is the black Precise Sheath with Ember buttons and CC button (from Paragon). I like the Paragon which I bought in Ember for a change from the black Sheath. Looks better with the contrasting black buttons and cc from the Sheath in it but I think I'd prefer it in black or 'Midnight'. Not going to rebuy though.
Love the Enzo but I have a black plateau skin on that doesn't look good with the Enzo so that won't get used unless I go back to a clear matte skin. Not likely as I like how the black skin stops orange showing behind the lens'.
Will be back in the Tank for a while when the updated buttons arrive in a day or so and looking forward to it.
Stopped using it as the power button was just too sensitive and eventually had enough.
Looking forward to the fold or 18 Pro Max in about seven months time! 😄

Isn’t it heavy? For the Pro Max I believe it’s 50g not sure about Air.
